“While traveling through the Ogden area, I got a desire for BBQ and went to the Goodwood restaurant for takeout. I ordered the burnt ends dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The meat was well cooked and of good quantity. It was nice to receive properly cooked broccoli also. I will definitely return to this restaurant when I am in the area.“

“Quite loud in the dining area. A crying baby added to the raucous. My filet was cooked to medium-rare but the sear was slightly over done with spots of excess saltiness. My mashed potatoes and salad were fine. The lady enjoyed her salmon. I had a couple of pieces of her asparagus - way undercooked and a funky tang to it. Worst part of the meal. My cheap jack and coke hit the spot.“

“Not something you’d think has amazing food. Building is nondescript and plain. Very easy to miss but it makes it in a best kept secret you want to share. We got the two meat plates. We got Kuala pork and teriyaki chicken and grilled chicken. They give you two heaping piles of rice and Mac salad. The guava cake was so moist and not too sweet.
They give you sauce options and there’s Hawaiian drinks or coke products. The menu is very clear and there’s even a drive thru.
Bathrooms were clean and it was nice and quiet. Great place to stop on your way out of town if you don’t mind a bit of a detour.
This is one of two locations. I’ve been to both and love them.“

“Been going every year for 3 years for spartan race. Always a beautiful place to go to and atmosphere is always great. Service was pretty good. Food was good as well but not great and unfortunately the cooler for drinks was broken so drinks were hot. But they did provide cups for ice.“

“The Needles Lodge looks like a five star luxury resort with ornate gold platinum lampshades and big wooden beams and huge glass windows and it’s a pleasure to be in however the food is pretty basic. It’s good for families and quick homely snacks such as burgers and chilli bread bowls . If we have paid $162 and that’s with a discount to go skiing for one day you’d expect the food service that’s slightly higher quality. however the setting is really nice and pretty if I was a resort owners I would get a new food third-party company in. However, the snow melt spiked 5% does help. It was a lovely venue and great for families. The staff were really nice and lots of people around cleaning the tables. So well done there. Unfortunately the food quality could do with a little improvement. But I would return.“

“Shout out to this place, catered our office lunch for an employee retiring today and it was fantastic! He said he wanted BBQ, we are in Layton, so he was thinking other competitors close in the area, but after visiting Lost Texan a couple weeks ago, I ordered from here instead and made the drive to pick it up. Everyone raved about how good it was. Chopped brisket, pulled pork, creamy mac-n-cheese, coleslaw and beans. Great job guys!!“

“We have gone to this location every few months for the past 5 years. Tonight our server was Z (Zeria ?) He was phenomenal. Every interaction was positive. He was amiable, respectful, and exceptionally considerate. His attitude towards coworkers is also something to be mentioned. We noted his positive attitude in helping his team members. His overall charisma is refreshing and should be recognized! An additional person worth mentioning was Dallas. He was also attentive to our needs and very friendly. The food was as expected, of high standard. The filet and mashed potatoes never disappoint! Although, it appears the meal was extra delicious being partnered with the quality of service we experienced today!“

“They have some really good food here. I was impressed by the portions as well, except for the khalbi ribs (which you pay extra for) they only gave me one piece. The pictures were very misleading on the rib protions, and I thought I would get more. Other than that, this is a good lunch spot to hit.“

“Scott's catering is simply the best. Who doesn't like hot food off the grill? It was the perfect choice for our daughters wedding. The chicken is so flavorful and was so tender it could be cut with a plastic butterknife! The corn was seasoned to perfection. And these folks are the best to work with!! All of the staff on site were kind and respectful which just makes the event even that much better. I would not hesitate to call Trevor at Scott's catering for my next event!!“

“Not bad. I didn't really like the spice on the food.. it was more just for heat than for any flavor. The meat was fine but not spiced well. The noodles were a bit overdone and squishy so that wasn't great. I'll probably go back but it'll be for something else.“
