This is Alta's main on-mountain dining restaurant to stop at for a break during your day of skiing. The food is expensive but it is solid. The oatmeal raisin cookie is probably the best one we have ever had. It was amazing! There is also a small gift shop within Alf's that has tons of cool Alta branded stuff.
The new renovation at Alf’s offers even more beautiful views of Alta. My kids get fries, and my husband loves a good CHETO (grilled cheese sandwich with tomato). I highly recommend heading to the furthest side away from the checkout registers for the best tables with windows overlooking the runs.

4 stars — mostly for variety of food — Food quality is OK. Employee spirit not what it used to be here, and certainly not what it was at the predecessor Alpenglow restaurant/outhouse, home of the Alta snow snake.
