“This place has excellent food and the owner is very engaged. Service is excellent from Chef Hi and they have a wide variety of various food from all over the world brought in fresh. He will tell you all about it. He is fun to talk to and ia very engaged with the customers. The only downside is that the dining area is kind of cluttered, cramped, hot, and run-down. Based on how much you pay for the food, I would expect a bit nicer area to eat it. I tried the Chilean sea bass and my wife had the salmon. If I ate there again, I would go for the salmon. Sides were really good and seemed very healthy. We paid $80 for the meal for 2, but the food quality was worth the cost, just not the ambiance.“

“First time trying Zao and it was amazing! We compared it to an Asian Chipotle. So good, everything was really fresh and they even allowed a sample of their new chicken for us to try. It was very reasonably priced and tasted just as good as it looked.“

“I ordered the pan-seared Chilean Seabass, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—silky, tender, and beautifully seasoned. The truffle mashed potatoes were delicious, with the truffle flavor really standing out without overpowering the dish. The miso-truffle glaze and the leeks tied everything together nicely; the sautéed spinach was a bit to bland for my tasting. Service was excellent throughout, and the atmosphere is quite enjoyable. “I love almost everything here, and always go out of my way if I'm near one or see th we food truck! the one thing I did just have that was downright bizzar, and borderline gross was the Raspberry chicken. I'm curious if there is anyone thats gotten it more than once. I just sort of speed ate the chicken so I didn't waste the money, but couldn't handle the rice with that actual salad dressing, super sweet and tart sauce. then it also has blue cheese on it which is very strange, lol.“
