“great food, best Chinese ever!!“

“I honestly don't know why they have a 3.5 star. I go through the drive though 99% of the time but I always have a good experience, the food is always hot, they give me what I order and it's good. I enjoy the food which is alot to say for post the fast food chains around Layton. They also always give generous portions and I almost always struggle to finish it lol.“

“I am wondering if there are new owners. I ordered some moo shoo to go and I am very disappointed. They gave me enough sauce for maybe 2 of the pancakes, if I only used a small amount. 2 of the pancakes had holes in them, so it was hard to eat. The moo shoo itself had a weird taste. Doesn't seem like it's the same. :(“

“I ordered online. I ordered the Szechuan chicken and the beef with mixed vegetables. Both were very, very delicious. The food was ready to go on time and was hot off the stove.
My critiques:
I paid extra to upgrade from plain rice to ham fried rice and from plain white rice to vegetable lo-mein. The vegetable lo mein literally had NO vegetables. It should be called “plain lo mein”. The ham fried rice had barely any detectable ham in it. It should be called “somewhat ham fried rice”. I asked for packets of sweet and sour sauce and the lady told no because my order didn’t include it. The atmosphere is not very inviting, almost like they don’t want you to sit down and eat there. Lastly, the online order app automatically adds about a 20% tip on a pickup order! You can edit it if you know it’s there, but it would be easy to miss.“

“This little restaurant is a hidden gem. It is generally a bit quieter. This also makes for prompt and attentive service.

My whole family enjoys eating here. My favorite is the sesame chicken. My husband’s go-to is the General’s Tso’s chicken. Our kids share our entrees and enjoy them both. Their vegetable spring rolls and cream cheese won tons are also especially good! The meat is not rubbery like many Chinese restaurants — I’m very picky about that.

For those who like traditional Chinese food, there is a menu section for that. They also have the typical Americanized options as well.“

My wife is picky about the Chinese places we go to, because Chinese food tends to make her sick, but we found that this is the best Chinese restaurant we have been to in over a decade! “The staff were great! They have a large menu with so many options it was hard to decide what to order. The good was delicious. Their Flower Drop Soup is delicious as were the lettuce wraps and main dishes we ordered. If you want authentic delicious Chinese food this is the place to go.“

“Food comes out so quick and all the workers are nice and well-mannered. This is the Orange Chicken Alacart and its so delicious, the chicken comes out fresh and hot, and I love that even this big portion of food comes with a side of white rice.“

I am VERY pleased because the flavor, prices, and portion sizes are significantly better than every other Chinese place I have tried within about 5 miles. Very, very highly recommend. Outstanding. “I am new-ish to the area and stopped in today a little before 4pm to get takeout for early dinner. WOW! Service was amazing! The restaurant was well cared-for, and very clean. (So was the restroom.)They insisted on seating me at a table, then brought me a glass of water while I looked at the menu. Asked me if they could answer questions and made suggestions. They SMILED (gasp!)and were so kind. They even walked with me to the door when I left while carrying my food for me. I have not experienced customer service like this anywhere else in Ogden.

They have a large menu that has familiar Asian foods and some fun less known options. I ordered Pho, Pad Thai, and salt & pepper shrimp to-go. All were hot and delicious. The pho soup broth was carefully sealed in plastic wrap so it wouldn’t spill on the way home. And the noodles and ingredients came in a bowl to pour the broth over. The sprig of basil was fresh! (In October)

I’m so glad I gave this place a chance. I will be back. Please keep restaurants like this in mind when you go out to dinner!“

“Our first server was awful. He looked really annoyed when he had to seat us, and that was after we sat there for 2 minutes waiting. Mind you there was only one other table in the restaurant that was filled. He asked us what we wanted to drink, and then proceeded to spend the next 5 minutes talking to this other table about video games. Fortunately another server came over and took over for him. That was the only thing that saved this visit. This is my first time at your restaurant and was not a great impression. The lady that served us was great, minus not refilling my beverage until I was asked. She did give us free dessert wontons for our inconvenience.“

We had the orange chicken and it had big pieces of chicken (not just filling) and the sauce was just the right amount of sweetness. Not as happy with my food though. My Beijing beef lactose normal amazing flavor that was kind of bland and way dry. My chow mein was a little overcooked so the noodles were a little too crunchy. But it was so busy in there I think they were just doing the best that they could to get the food out as fast as they could onto the heat table. Because usually their food is pretty dang good there. But I just want to praise the crew they were phenomenal!“

“As a buffet, there is a wide choice of both Asian and American buffet staples. There are many different types of prepared shrimp. Many entree, salads, fruit and vegetable choices. There are sushi rolls, pot stickers, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. I enjoyed all the selections I tried and would strongly recommend this restaurant.“
