We used to eat at Yu’s Maple Garden weekly when I was pregnant with my first son. Always enjoyed the food & the service was excellent. We’d order one if their lunch specials & make sure to get the hot mustard (I craved the hot mustard!! So much that they finally gave me extra to take home!) Yu’s Maple Garden is a favorite Chinese restaurant in Utah, known for consistently excellent food and fast, friendly service. The ham fried rice is incredible, the egg drop soup is always perfect, and the szechuan chicken is the best. The food is never burnt or comes out wrong, and the pricing is exceptionally low for what you get. The dining room is calm and quiet, and the atmosphere is fun, with trains passing by as guests eat. Parking can be slightly challenging during events at Union Station, but it is never a significant problem. The owner and staff are amazing, hardworking, and attentive. The owner memorizes returning customers’ orders, personally checks on guests, and makes sure everyone understands the menu. Service is unbelievably fast and efficient, with piping hot and fresh food arriving with perfect timing. The egg drop soup is bussin, and the Diet Pepsi is always refilled. This place is a gem, and guests will absolutely be coming back.
