I haven't eaten food this good since I last ate at Bill Lee's Bamboo Chopsticks in Bakersfield, California. Hearty portions, wonderful ingredients, friendly and kind service. Not a black tie atmosphere but clean and pleasant. The food more than makes up for anything. Yummy!!! I've tried for a long time to get satisfaction at local Chinese cuisine with no luck. We always stop by when traveling through town. We dined in and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Try the hot and sour soup! Wonderful friendly service great for a group or a quick lunch.
My spouse and I pulled up last night and there was a sign saying that it was permanently closed. We are heartbroken. So many important life moments happened for our family while we were either celebrating a promotion with wontons and sesame chicken or being comforted after a loss by the healing and hot egg drop soup. We will forever be grateful for the staff for being as kind and welcoming as the food was delicious. We truly love you. Thank you.
