Five stars for the ski area, minus 2 for the pricing and access changes. Powder Mountain describes itself as huge, and it is definitely massive. We visited for two days and barely felt like we saw the place (visibility was also low, so that didn't help), but got in a ton of good runs. Some areas have really deep snow while you can also go on a lot more lightly covered trail runs. So glad they have introduced their dynamic pricing and are not owned by Vail or Alta. Skiing any of those mega pass mountains is just awful. Huge crowds of terrible skiers and dangerously inept snowboards videoing selfies while they blindly flail down the mountain in their Instagram ready florescent suits.
