We were passing through town and stopped off here- it was the tastiest food! Had the quesabirria taco, street taco, and cheese quesadilla - and then we ordered seconds of each because it was so good!
WAS PASSING BY ......FOOD WAS GOOD PEOPLE REAL NICE 💯
Great spot after spending 3 days backpacking the canyons. Ask for the HOT salsa 🔥✅
Fabulous food. Fresh. Authentic. Wonderful staff. On the side of the road, but it's a good truck, so it's not off brand. 10/10 recommend. Best Mexican food I've had in my last 8 day road trip through Northern Arizona and Utah.
We stopped here based on reviews here and we were not disappointed. After spending the day at Capitol Reef and snacking on the way, we were not too hungry and opted to split small dishes instead. We had fish taco, shrimp taco and grilled chicken street taco. They were so fresh and delicious, the flavors were right on. We finished them in no time 😆 highly recommended this authentic Mexican place!
This place didn’t live up to the rating that attracted us to it during our stay in Escalante. The food truck is located in a place with some construction around (at least when we visited) and trucks on the move kicking up dust. We were looking for vegetarian fare and the lady at the counter couldn’t tell us clearly in English what our dishes would contain. Finally the chef came, clarified and our dishes were ready quickly. However the burritos were very bland with no flavor.
Very good
Chihuahua Garcia Mexican Grill, recommended by our RV campground, was a delightful surprise! We were a little taken aback to find a taco truck outside a hardware store, but we are so glad we decided to stop. We ordered street tacos, carnitas and carne asada burritos, and a quesadilla, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and friendly. And somehow, they also had the best tortilla chips I've ever tasted! This was the perfect lunch after a long hike and we highly recommend seeking it out. Don't let the unusual location deter you – the food is fantastic!
A nice little food trailer that deserves to have a building.
The food was very good. It was freezing, so the outdoor seating didn't really suit us!

my wife and i road tripped though utah for 7 days doing all the nat parks. and we ate at all sorts of hotels and restaurants but this roadside food truck hands down gifted us with the most flavorful, delicious, authentic meal. my wife had the carne asada tacos and i had the carne asada wet burrito. seriously so tasty. i housed my burrito within minutes. the seasoning/char for the steak and the flavor of the rice and beans were on point and the green sauce was exceptional. must stop if you’re driving from bryce canyon np to capitol reef np.
This place was legit and I'm pretty picky about good Mexican food. After spending 10 hours hiking this hit the spot. They know how to cook. Got the tacos and chips and salsa, plenty of food quantity and quality. I hope they stay or grow their operation.
Best food in all Escalante!!!!!
AMAZING food for a super reasonable price!! We are stopped here on our way between Bryce Canyon NP and Capital Reef NP for lunch and I’m sooo glad we did!! It took them less than 5 minutes to get our food out and I could not recommend this place more!! So sad we aren’t local because I already want to eat here again :/ I got the Quesabirria Tacos and my friend got the Burrito and we’re still thinking about how good they were 20 minutes later
My husband and I enjoyed fish and shrimp tacos as well as a carne asada tostada and carne asada fries. Soooo good! It was warm and tasty and the service was awesome!
