“Drove all the way from Idaho falls and had to stop and give them a try! They were absolutely delicious and full of fruit and flavor. Me and my friend each had one and they were 10/10 we also had a LOTUS energy drink and it was awesome! They are in the Holiday Inn parking lot and there is a few other food to there and they have INDOOR seating in a garage for the customers from various food trucks to sit and eat.“

“We love dairy keen. Every time we are Heber we stop here. The quality of the food is always excellent, the chicken strips and fries are the best I've ever had.“
“Love coming to my favorite chocolate shop! My whole family came for some coffee, sandwiches and we all got our choice of chocolate for dessert! The owner and staff are very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back soon!“

“For over 50 years we’ve been coming here and the food has been excellent. In the 70’s we would bring our kids here on Saturdays on the way back to Salt Lake from the cabin. The servers were smiling and friendly and even wore matching aprons. They would come to the table to take our orders and were very attentive. If we needed anything they were quick to please. It was a happening place with an upbeat atmosphere. The sodas and shakes were a highlight along with the amazing burgers and fries. We always wanted to leave a good tip and the kids’ highlight was the penny candy … especially the Swedish fish! We always left feeling treated like family. The next generation of staff carried on the tradition and continued to care about customer service as well as serving great food. Then about 10 years ago things started to change. It was no longer a very personal experience. For the most part the food remained great. This next generation of staff was somewhat aloof Then management started making changes to make their business easier for them. Serving customers’ needs became a much lower priority. Their hours and days open started to fluctuate. No more waiters coming to the table to take orders. Now you stand in line and feel pressure to order quickly, reading the menu while standing up. You pay then and are asked to “answer a few questions” on the touch screen, ie select a tip %. Crazy because you don’t know how good the service is going to be. Not only that, there is no motivation for the servers to be helpful or learn people skills to increase their income … and it shows. The message is “You’re just lucky we’re even open and will bring you food” They now close at 4:00 just before dinner time and are not open on Saturday’s. The chocolate soda my wife has been getting for 50 years came out with very little chocolate sauce. When she asked for a little more the 16 year old server said that’s the way we always make it and if you want more we’ll have to charge you a dollar. Penny candy? Heck no, it’s gone along with the attitude that the customer is impotent.
If the food ever starts to go downhill Granny will really turn over in her grave.“

“I want to live here. By far the coolest place I have stayed. Everyone is so friendly and they help you with anything they can. The rooms are so nice, shower/bathtub is perfect, there are fires lit every evening. Espresso machines in the room or you can walk across lit paths to the cutest coffee/ice cream shop, The Milk House or enjoy the best meals at the Simon restaurant. We enjoyed building snowmen on the expansive yards that are covered with snow. This place is out of a hallmark movie and we are already planning a trip back. 10/10 recommend!“

“The best thing about this place is the novelty portion of the store. The ice cream was not good. I was excited about the macarons, they looked good but had absolutely zero flavor and they are very expensive…not worth the cost.“

“The Roonies team went above and beyond for our high school family graduation party. We ordered 50 popsicles/ice cream sandwiches and were able to also get the Icicle Bicycle to be at our event to be the whimsical experience for self-serve treats. This display was a HUGE hit and the ice cream was thoroughly enjoyed by all as a special perk. The folks at Roonies went out of their way to deliver everything and support a Sunday evening schedule. We also had so much fun buying extra Roonies treats in advance to taste test all of the options. We so appreciate the personal attention, kindness and quality of our experience. This all contributed to a happy, harmonious and delicious celebration for our family and guests. I'm so glad that Roonies is based in our local community because we can't wait to keep eating and promoting them. Such good people! Thank you SO much!“
