“I’m a regular at Aubergine because first and foremost, the food quality far exceeds most other restaurants, especially in the fast-casual space. They don’t use any refined sugars or inflammatory oils in their food, and you can really taste the difference in the deliciousness of the dishes and and in how you feel afterwards. From bowls, plates, smoothies, açaí bowls, and more, you really can’t go wrong with the wondrous variety of color and flavor that they have. The visible kitchen area is clean and tidy and the workers are attentive and friendly. I wish Aubergine locations were as common as McDonalds across the US.“

“The food was spectacular. Silky, flavorful hummus with pita that is clearly made fresh. I had the Mediterranean salad and it really impressed me. It was tangy, herbaceous, and fresh. I had a side of gyro meat as well that I really enjoyed as it was full of spices but balanced with a fattiness. I tried my boyfriend’s salmon and that was packed with flavors also. Not to mention the space was so cute. I felt like I was at my grandmas house. It’s not flashy or modern but I like that. I was very happy to discover a place like this is in Salt Lake City.“

“I love this place. Great portion sizes, delicious flavors and seasonings. Everything tastes fresh and fairly healthy. My husband loves the raps, i love the bowls. Sometimes we’ll split both and share too. Their sweet potato waffle fries are a nice combination of thin and slightly fried, fry dipping sauce was also fab. Always satisfied with whatever I get. Also really fun that they have board games available, we enjoyed playing connect 4 with the kids.“

“We went there last minute to grab some food and drinks with friends. The only reason this did not get five stars is because they were extremely short staffed. The staff that was on, which I believe was only a single waitress and bartender with a cook absolutely did an amazing job for the number of tables and people they had. Angel was our server and she was absolutely spectacular. She was at a half run the entire night and always got our drinks out quickly and kept our water refilled despite running the entire restaurant by herself. We ordered some fish tacos and a burger and a salad and all the food was well prepared and, something that we would order again. The outdoor seating was perfect with shade and a nice cool breeze. We will definitely come back and hopefully they will have more staff to help out the hard-working crew that was there when we were there.“

“Went here on Sunday, loved this place. Out of all Greek eateries - bistro style this one is the best. Food here is Perfectly seasoned, well grilled, they have baklava ice cream which was very rewarding after a pleasant meal. My two toddlers ate grilled veggies and the rice, and of course they loved the feta fries..

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options and they have falafel, hummus and more.

“Yes! This is the Greek place I’ve been looking for, just moved here a few not DJ’s ago. The classic gyro was sooooo good. Same w the baklava. The people are really cool & the place is spotless & well decorated. Park in the front or along the side. If you park behind it the guy that owns the bar next door will get angry.“

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was trying to find a restaurant that would be willing to accommodate a group of eight with outdoor seating for lunch with a confirmed reservation. My party included an 80 year old, and someone in a wheelchair. Accessibility and a limited wait was important. I was thrilled to learn the manager at Cucina was willing to put a reserved sign on one of the outdoor tables for us. When I arrived a few days later the majority of the tables had umbrellas set up but ours did not so I went inside to ask if they would be willing to set one up for us. Within earshot I heard who I assume to be the manager tell the nice young man at the register that our group does not get any “special treatment” (since they don’t typically take reservations per se). So completely rude and so irresponsible to say where I could hear it. The woman taking the orders at the counter was impatient, unhelpful and not necessarily kind or pleasant. Her responses to my aunts’ questions were snarky. The young man working the register was really nice. The food was pretty good. I will never visit this restaurant again and certainly wouldn’t plan a big family birthday lunch here again. Disappointed to say the least.“
