It’s genuine and very good tasting. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza comes out hot. My only gripe is the portion. It tasted so good. I would literally have to buy like 2 1/2 pizzas to get full. That would cost me like $30 to get full. The pizzas are all personal size. I wish I could just pay like $13-$16 for a larger pizza that would fully satisfy my stomach. Atmosphere and service were good, not amazing but good. This is just a personal opinion but I think it would be awesome to offer some oil and vinegar for the crust to dip.I don’t want to sound too negative. I want to emphasize again that the pizza itself is tastes amazing and is fresh. I just want a bigger size!

I can't believe I have lived 5 minutes from here for this long and did not know these guys were here, I've wasted a lot of enjoyment on other subpar pizzas. I feel fit to say that because I have traveled a lot of miles out of my way by foot, boat, plane, and automobile for pizza of this quality. The fact that they have Flatiron Pepper available inside shows you that they know what quality ingredients mean, and the pizza mirrors it perfectly. I used my Calabrian peppers from home to make sure I complimented the pizza without overpowering it (if your pizza makes me use the "I Can't Feel My Face Blend" for it to be edible, then I know I won't be back).Staff was super competent, and as friendly as could be expected for a busy Friday night. The guys running back and forth keeping the outside operation going seemed to have great attitudes, which made me even more appreciative of the hard work that went into this pizza.

We get take out from here almost every weekend. The crust and toppings they use are SO good. Definitely my family's favorite Italian style pizza. And we eat a lot of pizza!

High quality ingredients prepared by experts who know what they are doing. Authentic Neapolitan pizza. Tastes best when fresh out of the oven. Very attentive chef and staff. Love that they only open 3 days a week - very European!

Always right from the oven! Tasty, fresh, wood fired pizza. Best around in my opinion.Only a few choices, but who needs more?Downsides ONLY Fri/Sat, Mon, and sometimes the music is a bit much (loud post-punk is a bit much on a Monday night ;-) ) Tiny hole in the wall behind and below an auto store, but worth finding.Order using a QR code at your table.About $13-15 per pizza, but get a $9-10 garlic pizza as an appetizer, it's worth it!Parking: Small lot, and you have to go down and behind the auto shop to find it.

Only reason we don't give this place 1 star is that the pizza is still good. From QR menu, QR pay, rude service or lack thereof, broken soda fountain, and angry patrons waiting like vultures to seat themselves, this left a bad taste in our mouths despite the pizza. Salad went downhill too.

Phenomenal pizza. Margherita, cheesy garlic bread, and a freakin pumpkin pie dessert pizza. Great char, no flop, perfect crust. Cool hidden location in the basement of some shop in Holladay just adds to the charm. Truly a hidden gem.

Pizzeria Tasso has become a regular stop for us. We’ve come here at least once a month for the last year. It’s hard to find any pizza joint in Salt Lake that comes close to the value. Great Neapolitan-style pizza, relatively fast service, and fair prices. The Holy Trinity, as I call it.The ingredients feel fresh, the taste and texture is great, and they always serve you with a smile as warm as their pizza. The Margherita pizza is our go-to, but I also highly recommend the Diavola, the Garlic Cheese Sticks, any of the Dessert Pizzas, and whatever they’re doing for the Pizza of The Week. We’ve been coming here long enough to have had 1 or 2 mediocre experiences. Don’t let it deter you if your first visit wasn’t what you hoped for. It was probably an anomaly and your next visit will be great. Also, if you don’t like Neapolitan-style pizza… don’t come here. If you want some cake-like crust and tasteless plastic cheese, there is a Dominoes and a Lil Caesars close by. But if you want a legit pizza with real ingredients that won’t leave you feeling like a beached whale, then make a visit. I promise it’s worth it.One note to the restaurant: PLEASE PUT THE PEPE ON YOUR REGULAR MENU! Please! I’m begging. It’s the best pizza you’ve ever made, and only having access to it everyone once in a while hurts me on the insides and the outsides. Please, for all that is Italian and bene in this world, make it a regular option.Parking: Tasso has a few stalls to the north and south of the entrance, but most people park to the west in the Walgreens lot. Much easier to access.Kid-friendliness: There are a few high chairs. Our baby comes with us every time. It’s been just fine. The owners have a baby as well, so they know how to be very accommodating.

We tried this pizza at the Italian festival - one of the best pizzas that I have had in Utah! The dough is delicious! I just wish they had more choices.
