“Do not order the Nachos! Worst I've ever had. No cheese just a tiny bit of cheese sauce. Add Beef. Don't do that either! It's an old cooked hamburger that was broken up on top and was cold and icky. I've never had Nachos without cheese... And it was $23.00. we ate 3 bites each and couldn't eat anymore, I left there hungry. It was Discusting! I watched all these beautiful meals go by. Don't even put it on the menu if your going to serve such low budget crappy food. Nachos are easy to make but apparently not for the Notch. Weird vinegary sauce squirted on it, not at all BBQ sauce. No guacamole. Home cooked chips were very stale. Do not order the Nachos, you'll be sorry. $23.00 for such a horrible offering, really? Here's an idea, nachos have cheese on them. Google it! OMG!“

“The food was so good but it was STUPID expensive. They do not provide anywhere near the atmosphere to accommodate the price. The girl who took our order was so rude. I asked if I could split my payment cash/card and she said it was a hassle. ok.. slight problem but, no tip. Then, while waiting for my order, she and her boyfriend start making out and talking about smoking grass and ignored the next couple waiting to order for like five minutes. She then started smack talking the chef of color who was so nice and cooked excellent food. Two burgers, an 8oz clammy clam chowder and two shakes on top of that experience made my pockets feel so dry at 36$. Wish I would've gone on a movie date instead with my extra change...“

“A great place for a quick, delicious meal for small or large groups. Gourmet comfort foods like hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, Philly cheese steak, and lots more. Common flavors of milkshakes done well with plenty above the rim. The staff was friendly, attentive, and took pride in their jobs. The dining area and restrooms were very clean, even during busy hours. Plenty of parking!
Kid-friendliness: A lot of good choices for picky eaters.“

“I used to frequent this place but moved away a few years ago. Was back in the area tonight and at 7:45pm was looking for a quick bite before making the 1+ hr drive home. I called hoping I could catch some last things coming off the grill as they were closing at 8pm. The Chef/owner didn’t hesitate to whip something up for us.,. And by whip up I mean an amazing chicken over mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, buffalo cauliflower, and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. They had it in my hands in 10 minutes and he even made time to come ask how I was doing. I can’t say enough about the quality and flavor of Ryan’s food. His team up front was very friendly and didn’t act at all like I was there 10 minutes before they were supposed to close. Pro tip: GET THE BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤“

“Carl's is my FAVORITE fast food burger joint. I hope the quality and service continues.
Vegetarian options: They offer the Beyond Meat patties. I love this because my son is a Vegetarian and we can both enjoy a meal together here. ❤️“

“For over 50 years we’ve been coming here and the food has been excellent. In the 70’s we would bring our kids here on Saturdays on the way back to Salt Lake from the cabin. The servers were smiling and friendly and even wore matching aprons. They would come to the table to take our orders and were very attentive. If we needed anything they were quick to please. It was a happening place with an upbeat atmosphere. The sodas and shakes were a highlight along with the amazing burgers and fries. We always wanted to leave a good tip and the kids’ highlight was the penny candy … especially the Swedish fish! We always left feeling treated like family. The next generation of staff carried on the tradition and continued to care about customer service as well as serving great food. Then about 10 years ago things started to change. It was no longer a very personal experience. For the most part the food remained great. This next generation of staff was somewhat aloof Then management started making changes to make their business easier for them. Serving customers’ needs became a much lower priority. Their hours and days open started to fluctuate. No more waiters coming to the table to take orders. Now you stand in line and feel pressure to order quickly, reading the menu while standing up. You pay then and are asked to “answer a few questions” on the touch screen, ie select a tip %. Crazy because you don’t know how good the service is going to be. Not only that, there is no motivation for the servers to be helpful or learn people skills to increase their income … and it shows. The message is “You’re just lucky we’re even open and will bring you food” They now close at 4:00 just before dinner time and are not open on Saturday’s. The chocolate soda my wife has been getting for 50 years came out with very little chocolate sauce. When she asked for a little more the 16 year old server said that’s the way we always make it and if you want more we’ll have to charge you a dollar. Penny candy? Heck no, it’s gone along with the attitude that the customer is impotent.
If the food ever starts to go downhill Granny will really turn over in her grave.“
