“Our Special Needs class came here today for our field trip The kids meals are so big and perfectly fed our kids. Then the owners brought us out ice cream (with Oreo sprinkles) for the kids and shakes for the adults 😋. The kids were so excited for the unexpected Treat that they started clapping 👏. “Son and I were in the mood for arepas and so when we spotted Chamos, we had to stop.

Space is small, just a few tables. We were able to grab a table surrounded by Venezuelan families who were clearly happy to ge getting a taste of home.

We had the two arepa plate, chicken and pork, and shared a beef empanada. The arepas are enough for two people to share. Both were delicious. Chicken was tender and juicy on its own. The accompanying sauces on both were tangy. The empanada was stuffed with beef and it was bursting in flavor.

Service was fine, nothing extraordinary. Table could have used a good wipe down if I’m honest, as it felt a bit sticky.

This is a good place for a taste of Venezuela.“

I had a great visit to the A&W in American Fork! The restaurant was impressively clean and well-kept — everything from the dining area to the restrooms looked spotless. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, which made the whole experience more enjoyable.

What really made the visit stand out, though, was the General Manager, Joseph. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in running a top-notch restaurant. His attention to detail and friendly attitude created a positive, inviting atmosphere that you don’t always find in fast food spots.

“I went to this location based on a coworker's recommendation. We got to the restaurant just after noon on a Tuesday and I was surprised when we walked right up to the counter and placed our order. I had the blu cheese burger and it was really good. I definitely will return in the future.“
