I've had the opportunity to see JJ Burger from a different perspective. I work on restaurant equipment from time to time, and every now and then I'm treated to a meal while I'm there.

Recently, they asked me to try JJ Burger's **Sweet & Spicy Burger**.

I'll be honest—I was skeptical. I'm a burger guy, but I don't usually enjoy spicy food. This burger completely changed my mind. It had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy without either flavor overpowering the other.

**You gotta try it!**

I can't fully describe the flavor—you really have to experience it yourself. The burger was juicy, packed with flavor, and tasted like it had been made fresh just for me. The fries were crisp, the portions were generous, and the whole meal felt like it was prepared with genuine care.

In fact, I wanted my wife to try it as well. I was fully prepared to buy another burger for her, but the owner wouldn't let me pay. Instead, I simply gave him a discount on the repair I was doing. That's the kind of mutual respect we've built over time.

One advantage of working on restaurant equipment is that I get to see what most customers never do—the kitchen. I see how clean it is, how the food is prepared, and the attention to detail that goes into every meal. I've personally watched the owner cooking alongside his staff, even though they are more than capable of handling everything themselves. That says a lot about the pride he takes in the food he serves.

I've eaten at plenty of burger places over the years, and JJ Burger is one of the few I genuinely look forward to visiting again. Seeing what happens behind the scenes gave me confidence in the food. Tasting it confirmed it.

“We love Carls Junior in Heber. However the last time we were there the kids that were working had the lobby music way up and then other music in the back turned way up as well.
