Cute little stop! I got a vanilla cold brew & it was the perfect pick-me-up on our way back from Zion. They had other menu items like smoothies & fruit bowls.
We had to wait 30 minutes for iced coffee
My husband and I are Kanab locals and we love stopping by The Cave Cafe. The food is delicious and we are usually pretty happy with our experience. Sadly, we wish the portion size was more consistent since we are paying the same price. Normally out açaí bowls are brimming with tasty goodness, but we have been a few times now where we receive almost half the portion compared to what we are used to. We would love to keep coming back, but we just wish we could receive a similar sized serving on each visit.
Very cool place, set near a cave trail and neat cave museum. The paninis were very good, quick and friendly service!
Never been treated to a finer Açaí bowl
The vibe of the cafe is unique and charming, with a rustic feel that reflects the surrounding beauty of Kanab. It's a perfect spot to unwind, grab a bite, and enjoy some great company.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Cave Cafe is a must visit. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town!
Oh and the Acai Bowl was so good.
Cute little place we found just driving through the area. It was a nice stop for us to grab a snack. Their mango smoothie was refreshing. They have a little cave you can crawl into next to the cafe and a museum here that you can can pay $6 to go into.
The food at the cafe was definitely overpriced but to be fair it's like the only thing around here so it makes sense that they charge so much. My smoothie was over $7.
There is wifi here.
Not a lot of seating. We came in early April. It was not busy at all.
Overall I'm glad we stopped.
I really don't understand how this place is highly reviewed.. Its so overpriced for the mediocre food and the service was so slow. I was expecting for the price, a panini with sliced avocado and real turkey but instead it was heavily processed deli meat and a small amount of mashed avocado. The acai bowls were diluted with coconut milk and had a little drizzle of nutella.. Have had way better bowls in my home state (and for cheaper).
Wish I stopped somewhere in Kanab instead of going here.
Love the moqui bowl and the Italian panini! The Italian was crisp and had great flavor. The moqui bowl was very filling and had the perfect amount of granola for a great crunch! Staff was very friendly and loved that the kids could play cornhole in between bites.
So glad we stopped here on our way to Utah. I’ve had Açaí bowls from many places in different states and this one was definitely my top favorite. The açaí base was smooth and had great flavor. Not to mention I’m not sure if their granola was homemade but it was AMAZING, I usually don’t care for granola but it had so much flavor and was chewy not hard like a lot of granola lol.

Desert Acai bowl is really good and enough to share. Recommend getting a coffee before driving on to the cave parking lot 1 mile further

Excellent stop to grab a quick refreshment while passing through. Our family stopped to visit the cave, but we're happy to see the cafe stand next door. We ordered fruit smoothies, but they had plenty of other options such as sandwiches, coffee, coco, etc. Great environment with shaded trees, picnic tables, grassy areas, restrooms, and plenty of parking.
Parking: Shared parking lot with the cave museum. Free, easy access, near the café.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating with grass area for the kids to play in.

This is a nice, shaded pit stop for a smoothie or snack. Sandwiches are around $10-$11 and 20oz smoothies are $7. It took about 15 minutes to get our 2 smoothies. But there was a nice breeze as we sat in the shade. They also have string lights for evening visits and had some smooth country tunes playing over the outdoor speakers. Go to the sand caves, SKIP the Moqui Cave tourist trap, then circle back for a refreshing smoothie.
The wait for one smoothie was 30 minutes. There was a family of 6 ahead of us that ordered 4 acai bowls and 2 drinks and that took a really long time. Probably at least 40 minutes. Another family came after us to order food and when I mentioned how slow they were, they said they were there the day before and it was slow then too. There were 2 really nice teenagers working but they couldn't keep up. They either need a smaller menu or more help. Wouldn't go there again.
Amazing food and great service, do order the Italian panini its bonkers
