“We love this place as it's what taco time used to be. Good regular tacos, good burritos, and good tater tots. The dining room is permanently closed, and it's pick up only. With the park just around the corner, take a blanket, a Frisbee, and enjoy dome good tacos, sunshine, and recreation.

“I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“

“10/10! Such delicious food and wonderful service! Me and my husband wanted to try something new for date night and this was a hit. We will be coming back and bringing all visitors here. I am hit or miss on Indian food but this was such great food. The Lassi was delicious. We got mango and loved it. Highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Butter. Oh and the Naan! Everyone go just for the Naan! We also tried the Papadam and the Gulab Jamun and would reorder both in a heart beat. I will be singing praises for this place for the next forever.“

I made reservations a few weeks ago, and I've been thinking about it ever since and it definitely did not disappoint. As two people that are not very fancy, it was fun to dress up a little bit and pamper ourselves with something fancy, such a tea time in the Grand American hotel. For lunch I had the S1 Pho and my husband and the Curry fried rice again amazing! We finished our meal with the Vegan Flan and omg sooo good!!! “Visiting Utah from VA. My best friend wanted to check out some bookstores and we got hungry. We trued stopping at some restaurant that was closed and so we stumbled by this Thai place.

I am not sure if the universe is looking out for me, but my goodness this place hit the spot like no thai restaurant I’ve had to date. I don’t know how else to explain the freshness in the food but it has that touch. Tom Yum soup… absolute killer. Followed up by some random noodle dish I have never heard of. I was upset at myself for ordering a noodle dish because it’s tough to assess a good noodle dish, but this was different. The noodle was somehow so light and the flavor was so subtly packed.

The service and the welcoming attitude of the server was top notch. This place is the perfect definition of a hole in the wall type place that cares far more about how good the food is than anything else. Absolute 10/10.“

**Update** A manager contacted me to discuss my review. I gave her all of the details and she apologized and invited us back with a gift card. I told her I didn’t want anything, I just wanted to be heard and to let those workers know how their customer service needs to be improved. She offered us the gift card to “make things right”. I appreciate her sincerity and will try again in the near future.“
