Sam is very easy to work with, very kind, and has a quick response time. Our cake turned out so beautifully, exactly what we wanted and more! “Co-Located with Guru's Cafe in Provo, it shares some of the same aesthetics. I "checked in" on YELP at Guru's when we had dinner there and was "rewarded" with a coupon for a "free cookie" from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I don't accept gifts or discounts from places I review unless it is a printed coupon anyone can use and this offer seemed close enough to that standard to give it a try. Also, living hundreds of miles away there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. Generally, my view is if I wouldn't buy something, getting it for free with a coupon is "no great deal." It was a busy day for the hard working crew at Enlighten and Guru's and it was also within an hour of their closing. After enjoying a very good dinner I went to the bakery counter to find out what my coupon could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie left which had a corner broken off, some sugar cookies, and some gluten-free cookies, one each of chocolate chip, the other was Snickerdoodle. Of all of these the broken peanut butter cookie was the most appealing to me and sugar cookies the least. I also thought to myself I'll take "the damaged one" so they can sell the others. The nice lady grabbed it with tongs and just add she tried to put it in a bag with them the cookie fell to the floor. She was mortified. She asked if I wanted a suggest cookie instead and I explained that would not go over well with my wife who would be sharing it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies, which I accepted. The grace she handled this with is more noteworthy than the cookies. They were good, even two days later when we enjoyed them with decaf enhanced with a little Irish Cream back at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato Cheesecake which really intrigued me but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru's and our would not have kept well during our drive back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still a at the bakery, I "checked in" on YELP and... got another coupon for a "free cookie". The next time were there I'm not going to use it. Instead, I'm going to leave room for desert and try a slice of that Sweet Potato (or some other) cheesecake. 😁 Bon Appétit 😀“

“5-Star bakery, but surely there’s a better way to package the sweet rolls? Half the frosting gets on the bag and then your hands become an absolute disaster getting one out. Can you charge $1 more for a proper box like every other place that sells sweet rolls? I’m trying to give constructive criticism since I love Shirley’s but every time I get them my entire family and friends all complain about the mess of the packaging.“

“When my friend this place was one of the best donut location in the state, I didn't really believe him. But boy was I wrong. Love this place. They have a great variety of donuts and kolaches. They're all delicious! I love the fact that their donuts are not overly sweet like other donut places.

“I can't say enough good things about Tony (owner) as well as Cream & Sugar. For starters their food (brisket tacos, brisket quesadilla, and pastries) were PHENOMENAL! One of our team members also took home a bag of roasted beans and went through them in 2 weeks time! The time Tony has taken to create incredible QUALITY products as well as train his staff with exceptional customer service. We can only find that when someone is pouring their heart and soul into their passions.

Tony was willing to accommodate our business in co-hosting an end game party for our road rally players. He made sure to provide us with anything our players needed. It truly was awesome to see him not only running the place and operations but being willing to get behind the counter and bus tables, provide us with the most incredible tasting food, and truly welcome any and all that came through that door. I have only heard wonderful things about this character and all he does for this community.
