It had been years since I had been to Asian Star. Our friends took us there to celebrate my birthday. It was even better than I remember! We had Walnut Shrimp, Mandarin Beef and Sesame Chicken. I loved the platter option that included soup, shrimp, egg roll and wonton. The Thai tea was so refreshing and delicious. What Are our experience extra special was the service. I felt like a queen! Our waters were never empty and smiles were abundant! I even got a special dessert...
This place has simply been the best quality Chinese food Salt Lake City for many years. The previous longtime owner Gary, set them up with the tried and true recipes (much like David’s Kitchen’s level food) when he departed and they haven’t skipped a beat. They are open until 3am dine in now! Cannot recommend Asian Star enough!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The service was outstanding, and the owner DOW was so friendly and welcoming that it instantly made us feel at home. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and you can really tell they care about every customer. The food was incredible—especially the shrimp, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything about this place makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!
