I am new to Salt Lake and immediately went on the hunt for authentic sushi. This place is by far the closest I’ve experienced to Michelin star sushi around the world. TG is the owner and a phenomenal person who did most of his training in LA. I judge sushi by the quality of the nigiri pieces and they are the absolute best I’ve had since I’ve moved here.

This was my first time at Ika Sushi, and it was such a great experience. We stopped in for a late lunch, so it wasn’t very busy, and we were seated right away. The space itself is really cute and the staff was super friendly, which set the tone for a relaxed meal.

An absolutely incredible experience! Came in around dinner time and luckily it wasn't busy. We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant decor is quite nice, cozy and comfortable. The service was incredible. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful.
The sushi is where Ika really shines! Every roll was amazing. Presentation and flavor profiles were perfect. They also use high-quality fish, which can be hard to find in Utah.
