“The food is great, I go back frequently. But if you order to go, make sure to check how many cheese breads they gave you - in all of the many times I've done so, they've shorted me by two literally every time, whether I order extras or just the ones that normally come with meals.
They always give me the missing ones without complaint, but I always have to ask. Still, the food is good enough that I keep going back!“

This restaurant would be great for a get-to-know-you type of date. The pacing is great for conversation and the music is very low volume. The food was delicious, the Hummus with peta was enough for 2 people easily. The gyro sandwich hit the spot. I would absolutely come back and bring friends.“

“Layla is not just amazing food, they make you feel like you are dining at their home! You do not have this impressive experience anywhere else in Utah but at Layla Grill. “Alhambra Shawarma is AMAZING! The most authentic Arabian-style shawarma I’ve had since being in Riyadh—and hands down the BEST shawarma in the entire Salt Lake City area! The flavors are spot on, the falafel is perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the sauces with the fries are out of this world. The staff is so friendly, the place is super clean, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you love Middle Eastern food, this is a MUST-visit—you’ll definitely make it your regular spot!“

“The food is yummy and made well in big portions - I joke that the combo baskets feel like I'm eating from a trough. There are some card and board games to play. This specific location has some sweethearts!! I left my wallet there and they saved it for me :) Not every business has honest people.“

“This place was surprisingly excellent and the young folks working provided great service! We had the gyro plate with lemon potatoes - stuffed to the brim with meat, veggies and feta; crisp and streaming fresh potato wedges. The burger was cooked to perfection. So hot and fresh. The souvlaki plate was also delicious. If we lived closer, we'd be here all the time! Please open a SLC location ;)“

“This was my first time eating here and it was SO good. Greek food is newer to me so I don’t have a ton to compare it to, however this was the best Greek restaurant that I have eaten at. The outdoor seating area was nice, their sauces they have were so good too. The beef and lamb meat were thin sliced but still juicy and deliciously crispy. Their wings had an herby franks red style sauce and herby dill ranch that were soo good too. We ate here while out of town and have already looked for one closer to our home. It’s THAT good!“

“I was over there today to dinner and I had a surprise with this place, I took my son and he loved the food and the cashier Martina was very friendly. The best part was that the food is very healthy and my son liked it (wich is very hard 😂😂). Great place and the pao de quejo was also very good.“

“I've been EYEING this place for a very long time every since I was dinning from another food establishment across the street. Now that I have step foot in this establishment, I felt relief I can give a REVIEW on it. Keep in mind its a small GREEK establishment and parking can be pack but I went durimg the afternoon so there was plenty of parking. When I walk-in, feel like a Subway kinda atnosphere.....maybe its just the tile floor? It does show its age and there are things that needed a make over but in the future, if the owner(s) decided to remodel....avoid the restroom at all cost unless its an EMERGENCY to use so I knock it down a star. The whole point of this review is the FOOD obviously and the service. From the looks of things, Im please with the service and the order I receive. I end up doing a TAKE OUT and order a CHICKEN SALAD and DOUBLE CHICKEN KABOB with soda drinks(unlimited refill). Getting my food would take 5-8 minute from the time I put in my order and you would see them cooking the chicken kabob on the grill. When my order was ready, I was surprise at the amount of food portion they gave me...well worth the price. Then came to tasting the food....oh boi oh boi! I was lit by the season flavor on the chicken. I'm very very satisfy and this hidden local place should be on your radar to try. Will come again for the WHOLE CHICKEN!! I BE BACK!“

“This place is delicious, and a really good price. I got the #5 meal, which came with salad, fries, naan, and two kabobs. My husband got the #2 gyro and fries and the lamb was super good! We also got the mango lassi and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I both said we’d definitely go there again, we were impressed with the quality and freshness!“
