“Welcome TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFE! I moved to the (somewhat nearby) area this past summer and my detox island green was the SINGLE MOST restaurant item I missed here. I found this restaurant just north of Petco when I made a wrong turn. My favorite anytime of day is the All American Wrap (egg, bacon, & cheese) and a detox island green with coconut subbed for the mango. The detox island green has the lowest carb count and is the PERFECT way to get your greens and love it! Welcome to the neighborhood!“

“I've doordashed from this location before and have enjoyed the Acai bowls. I was in the area a couple days ago and decided to stop in for a bowl. I wasn't greeted during the time I came in. I waited about 5 minutes before I was helped. There was only one other person in the store with me at the time who had already been helped. When my acai bowl was done, it was just left at the counter and the 2 girls working didnt say anything. The acai bowl itself was delicious, the acai was a little too frozen for my liking but I may come back in the future.“

“I went here for the first time the other day and their coffee and food were delicious. They offer three different roast levels for their beans. I tried their darker roast. It had such a yummy smoky flavor to it. I also got a breakfast burrito with sausage and avacado added. That was satisfying as well. Their prices were reasonable. This is a must try spot!“

After the owner took the time to respond so courteously to my review, I decided to give them another chance. Keera and Indigo assisted me and truly took the time to listen to my previous experience. They went above and beyond to make things right, and I genuinely appreciate their empathy and dedication to great customer service. I also tried the mango sticky rice that’s been trending on TikTok—and it did not disappoint! Thanks to how well these ladies treated me, I’ll definitely be coming back again.

I visited this place based on a recommendation that they had great drinks and was looking forward to a good experience—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.

When I walked in, I asked for a recommendation, and the girl who helped me was friendly and suggested the “Milky Way,” describing it as similar to a root beer float with soft serve ice cream. However, when I received the drink, it didn’t include any soft serve.

I went back to clarify, and another girl with green hair told me that the first employee didn’t say it came with soft serve, only that it could be added. I ended up paying extra to have it added, hoping that would improve the drink.

Unfortunately, it still didn’t taste good. After just a few sips, I politely asked if I could swap it for something else. The response I received was dismissive—the girl told me, “You drank half of it and didn’t have a problem with it before,” which wasn’t true. I hadn’t even finished a third of it and was only trying to see if the added soft serve would help the flavor.

As a first-time customer, I was really disappointed by both the miscommunication and the customer service. I had high hopes based on the recommendation, but sadly, I won’t be returning.“

It was the most I’ve ever paid for a boba and I’ve drank them all over. Even on Waikiki Beach they weren’t so expensive. So, why 5 stars? The brown sugar milk tea with traditional Boba was the best boba I have ever had! It was so good I am considering going back tomorrow before I leave town! Good job, Hello Boba. “I ordered a soda, a large popcorn, and a little licious on the app for drive thru pickup. The service was quick. My soda was delicious (my favorite is a my jam). The popcorn though was terrible, almost inedible. It tasted burnt and had black speckles on a lot of it. I asked the employee and she said it was probably because the machine is old and the employees aren't allowed to clean the inside of the popper because they might break it. Get a new machine or don't sell popcorn! (Though I love getting a popcorn with my soda, so I vote new machine.) It was such a disappointment and waste of money. Soda and service: 5 stars. Popcorn: 0 stars.This was my first time at this location. I noticed they have a lobby with seating which is awesome! I will definitely be returning and hoping the popcorn machine gets cleaned thoroughly or replaced.“

“I love DingTea so much, and this location is my favorite! Today my boyfriend went in and the cute employees remembered him and my order (strawberry milk tea with strawberry jam). My boyfriend also saw that they have a cotton candy machine and tried to get me cotton candy. The machine wasn’t working yet, so one of the cute employees felt bad and gave him a free drink. Seriously the sweetest staff ever and I’m beyond flattered they remember us! The drinks here are also the best; they never disappoint!!“
