“Layla is not just amazing food, they make you feel like you are dining at their home! You do not have this impressive experience anywhere else in Utah but at Layla Grill. The portions are generous and the prices are affordable. I can’t say enough about Layla Grill I wish I could eat there every day. They transform you to the Mediterranean with the atmosphere and food. “I’ve been coming here for at least 15 years now. Best kabobs in town! I love the chicken souvlaki and get it every time I come in! I love the options and variety in different foods. Spicy green curry and yellow curry pasta are also my go tos. Both the soups are also so good (which you can sub for salad with your meals).

“Alhambra Shawarma is AMAZING! The most authentic Arabian-style shawarma I’ve had since being in Riyadh—and hands down the BEST shawarma in the entire Salt Lake City area! The flavors are spot on, the falafel is perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the sauces with the fries are out of this world. The staff is so friendly, the place is super clean, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you love Middle Eastern food, this is a MUST-visit—you’ll definitely make it your regular spot!“

“Tried the Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh breakfast burrito and honestly, it’s like a regular burrito decided to take a semester abroad. Eggs, potatoes, and all the usual suspects—then boom, Mediterranean flair shows up like it owns the place.
It’s surprisingly solid for something that sounds like a cultural experiment. Warm, flavorful, and didn’t fall apart halfway through eating it (a rare win).
Would I drive across town for it? Probably not. But if I’m nearby, I’m grabbing another one and pretending I’m starting my day somewhere along the Aegean.“

“Went to Nutritious Bowl for a work dinner and ended up loving it way more than I expected. The Indian fusion menu is fantastic. The Chicken Royal Curry (Korma) was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, and the chicken lollipops were a total hit at the table. I still can’t stop thinking about the sweet naan. It was soft, slightly sweet, and honestly addictive. The strawberry coconut lassi was the perfect refreshing drink to balance everything out. On top of great food, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance made it an easy place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to.“

“I have been a customer since 2019 and I just had to leave a review after my last visit at the new Sugar House location. It makes me so happy to see one of my favorite local businesses, turn into a “not so small” business anymore. Everything is so thoughtfully curated. The “brings me home” flavors, the music, the ambiance, a joy to see all around! I recommend Aubergine to everyone I meet. If it’s your first time, and you aren’t sure wether to eat here, definitely give it a try.“

“I've been EYEING this place for a very long time every since I was dinning from another food establishment across the street. Now that I have step foot in this establishment, I felt relief I can give a REVIEW on it. Keep in mind its a small GREEK establishment and parking can be pack but I went durimg the afternoon so there was plenty of parking. When I walk-in, feel like a Subway kinda atnosphere.....maybe its just the tile floor? It does show its age and there are things that needed a make over but in the future, if the owner(s) decided to remodel....avoid the restroom at all cost unless its an EMERGENCY to use so I knock it down a star. The whole point of this review is the FOOD obviously and the service. From the looks of things, Im please with the service and the order I receive. I end up doing a TAKE OUT and order a CHICKEN SALAD and DOUBLE CHICKEN KABOB with soda drinks(unlimited refill). Getting my food would take 5-8 minute from the time I put in my order and you would see them cooking the chicken kabob on the grill. When my order was ready, I was surprise at the amount of food portion they gave me...well worth the price. Then came to tasting the food....oh boi oh boi! I was lit by the season flavor on the chicken. I'm very very satisfy and this hidden local place should be on your radar to try. Will come again for the WHOLE CHICKEN!! I BE BACK!“

“This place is delicious, and a really good price. I got the #5 meal, which came with salad, fries, naan, and two kabobs. My husband got the #2 gyro and fries and the lamb was super good! We also got the mango lassi and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I both said we’d definitely go there again, we were impressed with the quality and freshness!“

“We've been coming here for years and for good reason. Our food is always full of flavor, never dry and always received as ordered. The service is excellent. We always get the same guy, he's been here for quite some time. He makes the best chicken gyros in the valley, hands down.“
