absolutly the best sandwich and soup I have had in a long time. I live in Texas and working here on bussiness and we have some great sandwiches in texas but salt lake you have a jewel in this place / plenty of meat ,fresh bread , and soup hot and tasty . lady made the sandwich just as I asked . Hope to come by again before I leave utah
The sandwiches are delicious. I've never had a bad experience here. I always buy a whole and save half for dinner that night or for lunch the next day.

Legers Greek & Deli is a busy local’s place with great deli food, a great selection, and great service. The environment is very clean, and the dining area looks really clean. Customers fill out their own order on tickets, which is a cool way of ensuring everyone gets what they want. The sandwiches are made to order and taste great, with options like the kitchen sink (ham substituted for chicken breast). Specific meals mentioned include great lemon rice, great potatoes, great kabobs (chicken was best), and Taiko described as the best. Peanut butter cookies are as good as homemade.
However, some reviews note the bread has changed dramatically in the last year, becoming super dry and losing its integrity with juice, turning soggy immediately. One customer was disappointed that the bread no longer holds sauces well. Another mentioned a lack of greeting upon entering and leaving, and a concern about a worker handling money with the same gloves used for cooking. Despite these issues, many still consider it a go-to spot for a good meal, though some have stopped recommending it. Overall, the sandwiches are delicious, and it remains a favorite place to grab a bite.
