Stopped here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. There was nobody there so we rang the bell for service. Still nobody came and we were about to leave but tried the bell one more time and someone came to serve us. They were very friendly and the food was good and fairly quickly prepared.
My wife and I stopped in while passing through, wow! It is nestled right by a river in a narrow canyon that is simply breathtaking. The food is delicious, I think everything was home made, not a hint of a processed aftertaste. The experience was more than I could have expected. Thanks!
We wanted some breakfast early Sunday morning and found ourselves driving around to a number of closed places. Enter Hermitage, we found our way up the canyon and sat outside on the patio surrounded by trees and cabins listening to the river flow by us. We have 5 boys who can be a little picky with breakfast options and everyone of them asked to come back again next weekend.
