Just passing through town and saw The No Frills Diner had good reviews, so we stopped in. It was the best chicken tenders I have ever had. Very tender and a great flavor. It was especially nice talking with the owner.
I wanted to love this place, but overall we felt the prices were a little high for the quality of the food. The waitress we had was nice and accommodating, but the wait time for your food was really long. I understand it's cooked to order but the food wasn't worth waiting 30-40min. You could sense the frustration with other customers who were waiting a long time for their food as well. The atmosphere was decorated neat, but it was hot and stuffy.
Our server checked on everyone else but us. Forgot part of order never checked back. A cook actually brought out missing item and said hey saw this was still there so brought it out. Still nothing from server. Wasn't busy but the table across from us she checked on multiple times. Even brought them boxes and hey even a bag to carry them. We had to ask another server for boxes, never got a bag. I like to think we are nice people and we like to tip for service. We only did...
