Had a good time eating their Arizona fried chicken meal. Got seated right away, food came out quick and servers were friendly. Seems like other reviewers don’t really appreciate the fact that they’re able to get full service dining all the way out in the southwest desert, along with not being respectful of the land they’re on and the history of the Navajo people.
The location of this restaurant is beautiful especially after a day of hiking or exploring Monument Valley. I got the John Wayne Cheeseburger and the meat and buns were so delicious. I got seasoned fries and it would have been amazing, however, I got some regular fries plated that weren't cooked. Not a big issue, maybe a mistake but good service.
As others have said we were skeptical to eat here but as we were staying at the hotel we thought let’s just give it a go. We were quick to be seated and for our order to be taken, ordered an entree of tortilla chips which came out hot and with tasty salsa. The added guac for $3 was worth it. Despite these mixed reviews, the stunning view of a lightning storm and the restaurant's accessibility for children and wheelchair users were highlighted. The food was really good – even simple things like the chicken sandwich were excellent. A big shoutout to the friendly, professional server who made the visit special. As a visitor, you are able to buy the wraps and sandwiches, and the restaurant lives up to its name with its spectacular view. However, the portions are small, and the green chili pork, though flavorful, had pork strands that were hardly visible.
