I love cafe Rio,... usually.Wasn't too impressed with this location.I had the tortilla soup with black beans instead of chicken.It somehow lacked the robust flavor and amount of fixins that were in it.I was not impressed.I only ate some of it.My daughter had the sweet pork salad and ate every bite!
One of my favorite lunch and dinner places! Unpretentious, decorated with brightly colored walls and furniture.I tried the new bowl with cooked veggies and have to say it's nice they decided to add something for the people who prefer veggies to meat. However, the bowl was too small for ota content and some veggies were undercooked. I specifically came to this location because I wanted a good experience. The locations closest to me have been disappointing lately, so I came to Orem Cafe Rio and they didn’t disappoint. It was clean, they weren’t afraid to give adequate portions, it was clean, and staff members were polite and professional. Thank you, Orem Cafe Rio, for restoring my faith in Cafe Rio!
