“We have traveled quite a bit in Mexico over the years. Our favorite places to eat are small, home-owned, “hole in the wall” type eateries. Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. I don’t think you will be disappointed…“

“Loved the options on the menu, I ended up getting two Asada and two Pastor tacos. They forgot the second tortilla on the Asada tacos, and they fell apart. The pastor tacos were kind of fatty, but overall it was good. Loved the sauces and toppings! Great atmosphere for a food truck joint, with covered seating. Quick service, and very helpful!“

“This is one of our favorite places. The best fish tacos I've ever had in Utah and I don't normally eat a lot of fish or fish tacos. There is no strong fishy flavor to them and the batter they use is spiced and delicious. They also have some of the best chicken tacos. They cook over charcoal so it has a delicious flavor. Also be sure to try their Tampi sushi roll. It's delicious!“

“During coronavirus quarantine we try to Order from this place every week. Yesterday, was pretty crazy. The governor just asked people to stay home. People were lined up to pick up food. Your amazing employees were doing their best. Everyone was stressed and some customers took it out on the very people trying to serve them. Thank you for staying open so your employees have work and we have food. Thank your employees for dealing so patiently with the customers that don’t handle this stress so well.“

I grabbed a carne asada burrito and it was loaded with meat instead of being all rice or filler. The salsas actually have some kick too, which is a win. The staff was friendly, my order was right, and everything tasted fresh. It’s not trying to be fancy, just good, solid Mexican food that fills you up without breaking the bank. Definitely one of my go to spots whenever I’m craving a burrito.“

“Imagine this: You are having a very bad day. You feel terrible and everything is going wrong. You cried all day. You have barely eaten so you decide to get Taco Bell for dinner. The woman on the headset speaks kindly and softly to you even though you change your order last minute. You reach the window and the same woman greets you with kindness and respect. The workers inside are all talking and laughing enjoying their time together. You are in the drive thru less than five minutes and yet you feel the connection between the workers who put the time and effort into making your meal. “First off. I fly here from WA to eat the fries burrito. My bf came with me and there was hair and METAL in his food. They are throwing their meat out right now but I’m feeling additional compensation is required. It was not a thin piece of metal (it was roughly paper clip looking)“
