We have traveled quite a bit in Mexico over the years. Our favorite places to eat are small, home-owned, “hole in the wall” type eateries. Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. I don’t think you will be disappointed…
The one in Provo made the guac in front of us. This one seemed short staffed. The food was pretty good but not memorable.
Delicious! Had the Al Pastor. Salsa bar is excellent. Service is kind, warm, and helpful.

Based on the reviews, El Gallo Giro is a terrific place to eat with great food and top notch service. The food is super delicious, with meals like chicken mole, best street tacos, and delicious salsas. Everything is fresh-prepared on the spot, well seasoned, and well cooked. Portions are well-sized, with way more than expected for the price. Service is fast, friendly, and attentive, with a huge smile. The staff is super cool, even for customers who come in just before close. The águas frescas and horchata are also delicious. It is just perfect for families and is a top Mexican restaurant in Orem.
