Premium local meats and chicken and wonderful fish (offerings change). Flavor combos are excellent. Noisy. We try to eat there after the lunch crowd leaves. Closed from 3 to 5.“

Tried the alambre it came with rice and beans and tortillas, too bad I didn't snag a picture because it was amazing! Definitely will be coming back for some more! “This is THE tamale spot. I have been eating them for years when the craving strikes (which is often) and I love them. While I haven't had a chance to dine-in and try other menu items, judging by the quality and flavor of the tamales alone, I can bet everything is great.

If you don't have time to eat inside, just get some tamales to-go like we do! Easy to reheat and always good.“

They have a salsa bar with a nice selection and some pickled vegetables. The place was very clean and the whole experience was superb. They also have a drive through which is handy. My husband came by Don Joaquin's a few days ago and couldn't stop raving about it so I decided to join him there for lunch today.... let me tell you that I am so glad that I did! The restaurant is spacious, clean and they have some freezers with Popsicles, paletas and ice cream bars and fried doraditos by the ordering station. Menu is simple but sometimes that all you need right? I got the gringa combo, which has 3 tacos (al pastor, chicken and asada) with a drink and my husband got an asada burrito with a side of rice. I also got a slice of strawberry tres leches cake which was stellar! Every single bite was lovely; everything was flavored so well and was fresh! Definitely recommend if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed!“

“It's the best tasting Mexican restaurant I have been to I have been going to this restaurant for 30 years, the staff are incredibly Nice always smiling and very attentive to your needs, the owner George is super nice, and full of life, and very Commented. I come here often and I am always pleased with the service and the experience that I get.
