The gentleman at the entrance insisted there are no empty tables and that “you are welcome to the bar” and proceeded to ask”are you with the travel agency?” Then proceeded to seat othersDisrespectful

Service was enthusiastic yet incompetent. Food was creative yet poorly executed.Starting with the host, we called to confirm our timing for arrival. We likely should have been told that the group in front of us was going to need an extra 20+ minutes and we could arrive at a later time. Instead, our large group arrived and was told that we should find another bar to get a drink at before our reservation. It made us look disorganized to our group and made our group uncomfortable, as we just stood around for 20+ minutes.Once we were in the private dining room with our 17 guests. The table was a bit too small for a group our size, we were not warned that we would have to get comfy and snuggle with our teammates. We had one person not show, the host nor our waiter realized that we could remove a seat from the overstuffed seating. I moved the seat out away from the table, to make some space. After watching the waiter walk around the chair for about 30 minutes. I had to suggest to the waiter to remove the chair to make more room to accommodate service. The waiter was asked by me, the host for the evening, to explain to the table that they should order an entree, soup and salad, that we have ordered apps for the table. No discussion with the group happened from the waiter, the team was a bit confused about what they should be ordering. Then there was the timing. I ordered miso soup, it came out along with my entree. The group ordered sushi & crudo. They were ordered as an appetizer, however they came out after entrees. The restaurant did give us ~3% "make good" by removing some items from the bill. They should have removed more from the bill and if they had brought out some desserts, a fairly common hospitality move, would have made the ineptitude more tolerable. The food was mostly mediocre bordering on not worth what is being charged. We were told that the restaurant was experiencing a large amount of employee turnover which had contributed to the sushi bar being way behind. However we weren't told why we weren't warned about this latency when ordering.Only a single steak was to the correct temp, it was the well-done order. The med-rares were still purple in at least one case. The steaks were over-salted, in my opinion. They didn’t look or taste like the high quality steak I am used to getting at the ~$100+ price tag.The courses were not steady, nor timely. We had long waits between food coming to the table. We had apps come when a dessert course should have been served. Overall, nothing happened like one would have expected.Even the pork chop which they asked for a preferred temp, was not to the correct temp. Many drink glasses were empty, often.Overall we spent about $240/pp all included. In short, we overpaid for mediocre food and ultimately incompetent service.Notably there were small groups in the main room that seemed like they were enjoying themselves. I will never book a large group there again. Not sure I will need to give them another try for any size group.

Kita is our go to Canyons dining spot. We are consistently satisfied with our meals, and we love the vibe of the place. The food is spectacular. Some of our favorites include the salmon carpaccio and the hot night roll. Don’t miss the fried rice and the super fresh and delicious nigiri. The wait staff, along with all the supporting staff, are equally amazing. Dillon always takes good care of us. He makes us feel so welcome. He always remembers us, and he is a constant source of entertainment, all the while juggling more tables than should be possible. The entire staff is amazing, and we love eating here.

Me and my Fiancée went here after I proposed to her at the top of Vivian park. I told our server and he made it a point to make this the best dinner we’ve ever had. We ordered and paid for 3 rolls of sushi, 8oz fillet and a Kentucky Mule. The server brought us champagne to celebrate, sake to try, a white fish appetizer, and a desert drink. What a great experience I highly recommend.Parking: It is free valet parking here if you have a reservation!Kid-friendliness: Tons of kids. Very well mannered from what we experienced. Great atmosphere

Atmosphere is great but the food and service seems to be lacking for the price point. I also don’t like being charged $10 for water. We’re not in Europe…

Allergy/intolerance warning: ordered the sorbet trio and received ice cream after communicating a milk allergy. We only found out after eating. Server blamed it on kitchen-wait staff communication issues.

Thank you to our server and the rest of the staff for making it such a special anniversary experience. The food and drinks were spectacular! They also did great with my gluten allergy, making sure I knew what I could eat safely.

Kita consistently serves an amazing dining experience. The service team is warm and inviting and always efficient. We always ask for Dillon because he is entertaining and makes us laugh. If you order the hot night roll, just make sure to order two because it is that good and Dillon will remember you ate your husband's order the last time you dined. The salmon carpaccio, the hamachi crudo, and the fried rice are some of our favorites, but we would recommend the entire menu.

Kita was the perfect spot to celebrate a friend’s birthday while in Park City. The food was wonderful and the ambiance was impeccable. However, what really made this night so special was the fantastic service provided by Claudia. She was witty, humorous, and so attentive the entire night. We couldn’t have asked for a better time!

We had an exceptional experience at KITA! The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the service was fantastic. Our group of 4 shared a 3 mains (Ribeye, Lamb, and Pork Chop) with 3 sides. This was PLENTY of food for us, and it was sensational! Our dining experience was made excellent thanks to our outstanding waitress, Claudia. She was personable, attentive, funny, and an absolutely pleasure during our meal. We will be back to KITA again soon because of Claudia and the rest of the incredible KITA staff!

Quality of food for the $500 price tag set meal was average. I was not happy that our tiny 2 person table was 18” away on both sides from other couples. The setup was more reminiscent of a free breakfast at Hampton than a special evening. Service was exemplary and the rose was a nice touch. We made great friends with the tables next to us.
