Maybe because it was summer and they had plenty of time. But I was pleasantly surprised. Good service that was knowledgeable and able to adapt the food and drinks to our specific wishes. And those wishes were really off the charts and typically European.

Have eaten here many times and the food is good. Burgers and salads are tasty. Service is always excellent and you can sit outside and have some great views!

We were helped by the sweetest mother and daughter duo tonight during our visit. They both treated us so well and made sure our cups were never empty! We really appreciated their hard work and hope to return to Red Tail next time we are in Park City.

The mushroom polenta dish is absolutely delicious! And it's great sitting on the deck with the afternoon sun looking up at the mountain. Only downside is the noise from construction machines right now although they stopped at 7 pm

Came here for lunch with 3 friends. The bill came to $343 and I tipped $75. What I didn’t know, was that the server (Brooke) conveniently didn’t tell me that for some reason she had already pre-added a $69 gratuity to my bill, so I ended up giving her a $144 tip on a $343 lunch. I understand that large parties often get a mandatory gratuity, but this was just 3 people and the there was only 3 other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. I understand that it’s my fault for not asking or double checking my bill, but it’s still wrong and fraudulent to not tell a customer that you have already included a gratuity with the original bill. I would not recommend going to this place.

The most expensive food poisoning we’ve ever had! Almost $200 and all of us got sick, most especially our young daughter. The only thing we all shared was the hummus so it must have been that. The zucchini pesto was good , but the bavette steak was really bland and dry.Hard to find since it doesn’t mention anywhere that it’s upstairs in the grand summit hotel. Parking is far away, so I don’t imagine anyone comes here unless they’re skiing the resort or staying at a hotel in the canyons village like we were.Service was good but of course we’ll never go back due to all getting sick.

Since it is located right next to the ski slopes, the Red Tail Grill Restaurant offers a fascinating dining experience. Whether you choose to dine indoors, with a view of the skiers gliding down the slopes, or prefer the sun-kissed patio while sipping a glass of wine, the ambiance was undeniably delightful..Our lunch at the Red Tail Grill left us with mixed impressions. The hamburger was flavorful, hitting the right notes. However, the menu lacks diversity, which did not allow us to choose different foods..What stood out most were the waitstaff—their discontent was palpable. Unhappy waiters can always mar any dining experience. Unfortunately, this was also evident when we went to the restaurant. We experienced much more delay in service, especially during the lunch rush when skiers filled the restaurant..Comparing the Red Tail Grill to its neighboring establishments, The Farm Restaurant and the Drafts Burger Bar (DBB), reveals differences. Both the Farm and DBB were much better in terms of service and culinary offerings. In contrast, the Red Grill, though pleasant, falls short..Apart from these two, as being another neighboring establishment, Edge Steak Restaurant is already an upscale fine-dining restaurant, and it is not even possible to compare it—not only with this restaurant but with any other restaurant in the province..In summary, while the Red Grill Restaurant provides a scenic setting, it struggles to match the variety of food and service quality found elsewhere. For discerning diners seeking better service and a diverse menu for lunch, exploring the Farm or DBB might be a more rewarding choice..

I love this place particularly because the staff over the years has always done its best to get me on the deck in the sun if I ask, even when they are busy. It’s just the best sitting in the sun and watching the skiers come down the mountain with a glass of wine. Thanks guys.

Not impressed unfortunately. Hostess was really nice but service was extremely slow and menu was not very good. Cocktail was mid and food did not look good. Better options for après. Shame they have such a great location and don’t deliver.
