We had an interesting stay here. Check in was fine and the staff we encountered was all very nice. We arrived at noon and they were able to get us in our room before 4pm which was great because my husband had work calls. The studio we booked was nice, until we realized the bedroom carpet was all soaked due to a leak in the ceiling around the window. Unfortunately husband had put his bag down without realizing it was wet and several of his things got soaked. We called and the manager switched our rooms quickly which we appreciate. Unfortunately the new room they moved us to was directly across from the kids arcade and boot room. This room would have only been suitable for the hearing impaired. We were absolutely stumped as to why they leave the door of an arcade proper open so you can hear everything including the repetitious arcade music playing over and over again. So we asked to be moved for the second time. They then put us in a room along a corridor, next to a service room with tile floors and moved carts back and forth ALL DAY and evening. At that point the manage told us it was their last room and nothing nothing could do. I got the impression they believed we were being difficult even though both these rooms they moved us to were clearly vacant because they were in undesirable and loud locations. We ended up staying because I couldn't deal with moving rooms again, though the entire stay was quite loud. The net of this hotel is that the price is solely based on location and being a true ski in / ski out hotel. The rooms desperately need updating (the sofas in our room looked so dirty we put towels down before we sat) and a new decorator. The layout is super confusing and maze like. The sound proofing between rooms leaves a lot to be desired. The surrounding older hotels all have the same reviews though. Except for the Yotel and Pendry which are both new / under constriction, they all need serious updating. We will still come back to Canyons, but will likely try another property in the future.

Yes, this place take a few days to get used to. We stayed for 4 nights. In the Bison building. The buildings were clean and the staff was pleasant. With exception of one jerk-off working in the registration lobby. But, a great manager came in and cooled me off and took care of all my needs. (The next day it was still wrong, but my wife was fine with it, and so, I left it alone since it really did not bother me.) But the overall stay, was great and I would definitely stay again.

Spent five nights here. Loved it, staff is very helpful and nice. The amenities are on par with any other resorts, but best thing is the location. Truly ski on ski off

Friendly baristas! Amazing Starbucks coffee ☕️! And our favorite part was lounging by the welcoming and warming fireplace ? So glad the coffee shop is open on weekends! Saturday and Sunday only y’all ?

Great staff but very out dated. I wouldn't have booked here if I knew how out dated the resort was. The room wasn't clean and the rooms with carpet smell dreadful. If you book I would recommend asking for a room with hard floors and mopping them yourself at checkin. The pool is amazing and and appears to have been updated recently. They did ensure me that they were updating the property soon. However, I could have stayed at a cheaper hotel and been more

The lady at the front desk spoke no English so we spent 20 minutes walking around the parking garage due to unclearly marked entrances and having no idea where to go, the jets in the jacuzzi didn't work, and the bedside outlets also didn't work. The place was clean but I expected a better experience

High-density resort in the Canyons area of Park City, which is undergoing significant construction on more new buildings and the main road into the Canyons resort corridor. The 1-bedroom suite we rented was very attractive and privately owned, but we checked in through the resort. Thank goodness one of their staff (Shana) took us under her wing and made sure we got to our room, as the layout is a bit confusing and the directional signs didn't help much. Our unit was very nice, but its terrace faced a huge building under construction. Absolutely no views other than concrete and scaffolding. Bedroom drapes needed to be kept shut so construction workers couldn't see in. Parking was a nightmare. If you try to park after 7pm (after a nice dinner out), you will be surprised upon return by signs saying garage full and the card reader shut off and also no valet or help at the check-in area. Luckily, we figured out a way in and started a trend on one level by parking up against a concrete wall, followed by other guests scrambling for parking. There are other resorts closer to Park City town that are not in a construction zone which would have been tons better for our visit. I gave two stars to this review--one for the helpful staff person and one for the unit we stayed in.

This was a mixed experience. We stayed for 2 nights. The best thing I can say is the room was clean. It was quite small but a fine size for just me and my husband. TVs could be updated. Unpleasant points: - Check-in: As we approached the resort, I received a phone call telling us our room was ready and the keys were waiting. However when we pulled up, first we had to wait in a very long check-in line (about 20 minutes). It was all done in the car. When it was our turn, the check-in lady said our room was not ready. We told her we received a phone call stating our room was ready. It seemed like perhaps our room was given to someone else. This was eventually sorted out. - Parking: We pulled forward and the attendant directed us to a specific parking spot that he wrote on a map for us. We assumed this was our spot for the weekend. However, after leaving for dinner and returning, the spot was taken by another car. We were told the parking was not assigned (why then tell us to go to a specific spot before?) and they had run out of self-parking for guests. We had to park in the valet spots. - Construction: Saturday morning I was awoken at 7 am by construction right outside my window. This was just super annoying and perhaps not even the resorts fault but still not good for guests. - Pool: A group of middle-aged partiers decided the outdoor/indoor pool was their personal pool party on Saturday. They brought a large speaker and played music (not always clean music) the whole day also while drinking beer and other alcoholic drinks in the pool all day. This was quite annoying and inappropriate as there were many young children also in the pool. Several resort employees walked by throughout the day but nothing was said to these people until as I was leaving (around 4 pm) an employee spoke to them but then left.Pleasant points: - The room was clean. - The adult relaxation pool was quite nice and actually not busy at all. We were able to relax in the hot tub and heated pool. The only thing is this area is completely indoors. Overall I'm not sure we will be back. I think there are probably better places to stay in Park City.

I don't even know where to begin with how disgusted I am with this place. Not only was it hard to find our room, when did eventually find it, it was filthy!! There were dirty sheets on the bed, dishes in the sink, dirty towels in the floor and trash in random places. You'd think during a pandemic, they'd be more cautious. Nope! When I called to tell them to move us to another room (we had just driven 12 hours to get there) because we're not waiting another hour for housekeeping, they "feel free to leave".... are you f***ing kidding!?!? Ramona, you are the world's worst manager and I genuinely hope they fire you. I would not, under any circumstance ever recommend this cesspool.

This hotel is in a great location however it is not updated and rooms very small and not really designed for more than two people. It looked way better in the pictures. The indoor outdoor pool is nice but 3.5 feet only. No towels and no one would give us any when asked. The restaurants are hard to find and you have to walk a maze of floors and elevators to find them. The steak house is reservation only and the pub is burgers only. No other food really in the area. For the price we paid I honestly expected more. The bed was not comfortable at all.

It was nice. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. We did have a mix up because of COVID they were short staffed, my use of a third party to book led to a mix up, and the staff was super accommodating, they even got us free lunch at the Bar and Grill at the resort. Even with m frustrations the staff where nice.My only complaint is they only have two pools open right now and both are only 3 feet deep. Also only one elevator is working. Not clear instructions on how to park but if you have common sense you can figure it out. Its the people without it I am worried about.Really a beautiful resort.

Well folks if your into getting ripped off, then come here. Moment I walked into the hallway, I was hit by the heater full blast blowing. They don't check in til 4p and checkout is 10a ??! That's a rip off too. No wiping down of public areas during the Wuhan virus and tons of people at and around the pool area and Hallways. Makes sense this area is a hot spot. Floors were disgustingly dirty, feet are black after walking around the room. Sofa bed broken and no linen provided. I'll go to deer valley next time. Just pushing people thru to make up revenue.

Bring us back out to do some updated reviews! My family and I would love to getaway for a few days and take a road trip from Huntington Beach. Please forward me any special offers that you might be offering to past customers like us!

We're here now and having the best time! I originally booked a getaway to San Diego for the family over father's day weekend but seeing how southern commifornia is still under strict shutdown, I'm so glad I found Westgate resort. We've never been to Park City before, Utah is beautiful! The resort has two family friendly pools with spas by each, an adult pool (closed for reno), tennis court, playground, arcade, kids club, full gym, day spa, restaurants. They have EVERYTHING. My husband and I already discussed it, we'll definitely be back.

Stayed here during Covid. The place is so incredibly clean and the staff is doing everything imaginable and then some to take all necessary precautions. I've stayed at another hotel during Covid which was nothing like this. I'm very impressed with everything they're doing to keep everyone healthy and safe but not limiting the fun we can have so that it still feels like a vacation at a great resort.
