Paid for a Valley View King room with a balcony. We were given a regular king room, no balcony, next to the elevator. Receptionist gave my 12 week old a teddy bear on arrival which was a nice touch. However, the hotel charged us a higher price for a higher room and never mentioned at all that they were putting us in the base room… only upon entering the room did we discover that we had been bait and switched! Because of this, we also missed the champagne toast and smores as...read full review
Had a terrible experience here. Came here for a friend’s 80th birthday. Service was terrible and I am amazing laid back and very patient. They missed 2 orders on our table of 12. Beautiful atmosphere and stellar staff. I can't say enough about the hospitality. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. An amazingly cozy place to stay.

The St. Regis Bar - Deer Valley provides a beautiful spot to relax after a day on the slopes. The staff is super friendly, and the warm ambiance creates a comfortable atmosphere. Guests can enjoy stunning views while savoring dishes like wagyu cappricio appetizer, lamb taigalette, and short rib polenta. The brasserie area offers a quieter, family-friendly environment with excellent views. However, recent reviews mention some issues with service and food quality. Some guests experienced lukewarm drinks, overcooked steak on Caesar salad, and delays with food, including a burger that was brought out without all requested toppings. Others noted that the new drink policy limits options like Bloody Marys, and some found the staff's attitude to be rude. The food has also received criticism for being overpriced and consisting of frozen items like French fries and chicken tenders, with the black truffle pizza not meeting expectations. Despite these concerns, attentive servers and knowledgeable sommeliers like Mitch aim to ensure a memorable experience, including wine tastings and expertly paired wines.
