We love the Owl Bar. Good food, booze, and friendly folks in a rustic western atmosphere. Super cool place if you are in Provo! A great time to visit is right before they open the slopes for skiing as there is no crowd and you really have the opportunity for a personalized experience. Last night, we watched the bar staff make mulled wine in a big pot at the bar, and then candied orange peel in a separate batch. We also got to enjoy the fire on the back deck all to ourselves.
Tucked near Sundance Resort, this rustic bar is a beloved local hideaway—think cozy logging beams, craft cocktails, and mountain-front charm. It’s a relaxed spot to wind down with a drink after exploring Provo Canyon or Sundance’s trails.
I don’t know what kind of sorcery is happening in the kitchen at The Owl Bar, but I’m convinced the chef is a full-blown wizard. There’s simply no other explanation for food this delicious. Every bite was a perfectly balanced potion of flavor, texture, and creativity — like he waved a wand and summoned the exact dish I didn’t even know I was craving.
