Tucked near Sundance Resort, this rustic bar is a beloved local hideaway—think cozy logging beams, craft cocktails, and mountain-front charm. It’s a relaxed spot to wind down with a drink after exploring Provo Canyon or Sundance’s trails.
I don’t know what kind of sorcery is happening in the kitchen at The Owl Bar, but I’m convinced the chef is a full-blown wizard. There’s simply no other explanation for food this delicious. Every bite was a perfectly balanced potion of flavor, texture, and creativity — like he waved a wand and summoned the exact dish I didn’t even know I was craving.

Open in summer for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays. Simple bar menu. Shared a generous and very well prepared large tray of nachos with fresh home style chips, cheese, black beans, 2 scoops of guacamole, 2 scoops of sour cream, lots of black olives, pico de guayo, picked jalapeños, and grilled chicken breast for $32.
