“This location clearly has great management. A few times the cashier wasn’t sure what to do, new coupon related. (who cares, no one knows everything). This can be an awkward situation, but it wasn’t. How they handled it showed they were trained and managed well. They had help immediately or simply figured it out. Felt more like a nice restaurant manager handling it than a typical fast food place. Foods great too!“
“I like spending my money locally. We would go in for shakes once a week even though they charge a "surcharge" over the menu prices. We want the business to succeed. Look, the shakes are good when they are good, but the consistency is poor. Sometimes the flavoring is at the bottom or on the sides, sometimes not mixed in at all. Sometimes the ice cream is an inch over the top so that we had to eat it before driving away, and more often lately, not filling the cup. When you get over-full cups which feel like you got a bonus... and then the next couple of times the cup isn't even close to full, it feels like you didn't get what you paid for.“
“What a wonderful surprise I had driving back to San Diego from Denver. Had an itching for a nice desert. Stopped at this place, which is totally worth the drive from the 70 freeway, and had the dessert with the huge brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. It was fantastic. There was a cute family who lived in the area there who ordered a ton of stuff that said they come there often because the food is so good. Totally recommend!!“
