Love this place. Went in at 12:45 to pick up a apple fritter and of course they were out at that time, but they had some in the oven and told me to wait. I got a hot fresh apple fritter. It was the best.

The donuts are alright. Better than grocery store donuts, but not quite on the same level as other bakeries. The filled donuts are definitely not worth your time though. There’s barely any filling in them at all. And no, these photos aren’t manipulated to make the donuts look more empty than they were. There was a silver dollar size amount of filling in each donut. Most was unfilled. So you get maybe 2-3 bites with any filling.

(2yrs ago review)Delicious and even tasted fresh at 2pm!! Lots of donuts were already sold out by then though, so get there in the morning for more options. Drive through was very convenient!
(Edit) a couple times now, we’ve come in asking for old fashioned donuts in the early afternoon and the workers up front said they’re all out. Then, someone from the back walked out and said they have some in the back. It stinks to have to ask 2 people because someone might be too lazy to go to the back and get you some! Not good customer service experiences…

For those of you that enjoy the nostalgia of a good donut Banbury is the best in Salt Lake City. A vast assortment of various donuts from old fashioned glaze twists to Boston creme. They even make a special, 24 hour in advance notice, Utah donut which is U shaped, has 3 varieties to choose from (glaze, chocolate, and vanilla frosting), and has white and red sprinkles as an option. Convivial staff and fast service.
