Such a good vibe, nice and dark with old movies on the tvs and music just loud enough. Bartenders are crazy good at handling volume and making the best cocktails in salt lake—without exorbitant pricing. Knowledgeable and capable staff, treat them right and they’ll treat you right.
Bartender refused to serve my friends after one of them touched an orange in a bowl on the counter not realizing it wasn’t for the public. Apologized and said they would pay for it but bartender angrily cancelled their drinks and said they needed to “learn their lesson”. Super power trippy. Had some after dinner cocktails, we got the Ivy League and Porch Pounder— thought they were okay tasting but the presentation was nice. The music playlist was fun, but clashed a bit with the speak-easy, golden, classic decor but that’s fine. Loved the bar shelf organisation, so visually pleasing. Didn’t order food, but the options were so limited I didn’t have high hopes.
