Love hibachi fried rice so was excited for Benihana. Unfortunately, the fried rice, which was a $7.50 up charge, wasn't flavorful. I've never experienced paying that much more for fried rice at a hibachi place and wouldn't have minded, but it was just so boring.
Date Night in Salt Lake City, usual restaurant. Went to the second floor, service from waitress was very slow, tables which sat after us had faster service. At one point, had to look for our waitress and front desk lady, could not find either. Finally our waitress came back and said there was issues with the bar... Food, Drinks after we received them were great. Our cook did an exceptional job! Food was very good also! Again waitress service was poor from our perspective.
Everything was great once you get seated. Amazing food amazing service amazing atmosphere. The only problem is getting in. Why did I have to wait over half an hour for a table that i reserved? I'm not quite sure but that's what happens there. It could absolutely have something to do with just how they fill the tables, anyhow that's my only complaint.
