Current Fish and Oyster offers a delightful dining experience. Guests continue to praise the chef's selection oysters and the seafood Cobb salad. The crab cake is noted as a must-try, being very unique and fresh with hardly any binders. The scallops dish is also highly recommended, an excellent take on scallops recently with a crispy rice cake and delicious sauce. Despite some concerns, the fish was cooked and seasoned well. The fish and chips and shrimp and grits with a scallop remain standout dishes, now with more flavor, along with the creamy chowder soup full of large clam chunks. The seafood stew was OUTSTANDING. The house salad transitions nicely from apps to dinner, while the affogato dessert is still considered delish.

Service is always great at this restaurant. However, one guest noted the server was not so good and food came out way too fast. The patio offers a nice and quiet spot to enjoy the meal. With the return of the quality chef, the food remains delicious as usual, featuring fresh oysters and some of the best fish and chips. It is a perfect date night spot and a lovely restaurant with incredible food, a great choice for special occasions and celebrations.
