5 Stars! El Asadero is a hidden gem on the Westside—real ones know. The food always hits, especially the carne asada tacos and tortas. But beyond that, this place means a lot to the community. They've held it down through a lot, especially with all the new development and changes around them. It's not just a taco spot, it's a piece of Westside culture and resilience. Grateful they're still here doing what they do best. Support local and support El Asadero!

We were parking to come eat at the restaurant and some guy comes up who doesn’t speak any English trying to charge $20 for parking ? don’t eat here. What a joke.

I love this place! My family and I have been going here for years and it's the same quality every time. My favorite dish here is the menudo (the picture). This place is also genuinely the best Mexican food I've ever tried. If you are looking for a good place to eat with good serving sizes and great food and authentic Mexican this is the place.

Great mom and pop Mexican joint. Literally. Mom cooks all the food, and pop is the waiter, server, and cashier. The food is really good. The lunch specials here are hard to beat on price. I've been here half a dozen times and have and have yet to be disappointed. The enchiladas are tasty, as are the burritos.

Used drive through, most of the prices had tape over them so I'd recommend going inside. Food took a long time to receive, but that was because they made it from scratch. I had a quesadilla made from scratch. It was good, though it was a bit small.

I love to find out of the way Mexican restaurants this hands down was horrible. The service, the food, I figured because it seemed like a small family owned restaurant would be authentic nope disgusting.
