It's too bad these guys are being forced to shut down. Super nice folks. Great food for the price. But they're closing their doors on 7/31/25 due to a giant apartment complex going up next door. Such a shame. If the complex was smart, they'd help them not force them to close their doors. Lovely folks. Too sad.
5 Stars! El Asadero is a hidden gem on the Westside—real ones know. The food always hits, especially the carne asada tacos and tortas. But beyond that, this place means a lot to the community. They've held it down through a lot, especially with all the new development and changes around them. It's not just a taco spot, it's a piece of Westside culture and resilience. Grateful they're still here doing what they do best. Support local and support El Asadero!
I love this place! My family and I have been going here for years and it's the same quality every time. My favorite dish here is the menudo (the picture). This place is also genuinely the best Mexican food I've ever tried. If you are looking for a good place to eat with good serving sizes and great food and authentic Mexican this is the place.
