The really tall, possibly manager (Brent), man in the suit was unbelievably rude, sassy, and fake. He showed no respect and was incredibly unprofessional. It completely brought down the mood of everyone and made the dining experience completely horrible. The food was good though.

Cute place but in a very dated area of the hotel. Had three macarons and coffee. The macarons were probably the worst I’ve ever had (incl. those from Whole Foods and Costco). Shells were weird texture, filling was liquidy, they didn’t stay together, and they hardly had any flavor.

We had a bite of their dessert along with some hot chocolate which was more on the sweet side...the scone was scrumptious. They have some space to sit but it's very busy due to people waiting to get accommodated in the restaurant area but all in all a good place to stop by for a quick drink and bite while roaming around the hotel

Cute little coffee shop inside the grand America. Mocha was good. Tried a slice of coffee cake and that was soo good! It's huge! I couldn't finish it and saved it for the next day and it was still super moist!

This place is adorable. Every time I come here I feel like I step out of this world. Hospitality is so nice and the pastries and coffee are to die

This review is specifically for an employee named Samantha, she had a British accent. Was incredibly unprofessional with other employees and impatient with me as well as the people in line in front of me. I would give the coffee and pastry I purchased 10 stars, but my experience with this employee was anything but satisfactory.

Great service, great food and drinks. The staff here was super friendly and helpful. The ice cream was very good, and the chai latte I got was the best I ever had, so I came back later and got another! The next time I tried the ham and cheese croissant and it was delicious as well. They have some of the same pastry/bakery items as other places in the Grand America hotel (this cafe is inside the hotel), and I can say their macarons are delicious (the raspberry was a favorite). Their bakery items and pastries are beautiful as well as delicious. They also gave a couple of cute sitting areas. Highly recommended. I live in Seattle so Starbucks is usually my go-to, but this place is SO much better.

Randomly decided to walk in one my way to work. Team was incredibly nice and helpful. Food and drinks were beautifully pretend and delicious!

Update: They no longer have this pastry shop. Get ready to be disappointed. It's just a restaurant and coffee shop.

If I could give this a 0 ⭐️ I would. I wanted to pick up some pastries on my way out after my stay and I was greeted with poor customer service. If for whatever reason I find myself at Bonne Vie again, I hope my experience will be much more different. Macarons were very dry and crumbly. I’ve had better from the grocery store.

I went in because I heard the ham and cheese croissants were amazing, and decided to give it a try. It's placed in the Grand America Hotel which is already major chefs kiss, walked past a harpist on my way down a marble and wooden hallway, really puts you in a vibe. Then I turned the corner and saw the Bonne Vie. ITS SO CUTE! But classy and fun yet euro vintage modern (is that a thing??), I absolutely LOVED IT. Wish I could have stayed longer, but I grabbed to go the almond croissant and ham & cheese croissant for my long work day. The two girls at the front desk we so sweet and helpful, they warmed both of them up and just had overall a great interaction. I can't wait to come back again.

Cute little place. Andrew was super friendly and the tarts were yummy. Macaroons we're not that great. They were dry and crumbly.

My $8 macaroons were hard and crumbly. Disappointed

I had the Lemon Tart and it's by far the best I've had in a really long time this cozy little spot is inside the Grand America hotel. Apparently the lemon tart is always sold out as it was my first time seeing it displayed for the number of times I've been at the shop, I had to try. It was so good so glad I bought two. Service was great as well although I didn't get the name of my server, I wish I did. I could've acknowledged him properly on this review. Will be coming back for more!
