Serves 2. The molcajete may stay hot for some time and it is not unusual for the dish to still be bubbling a half-hour after being served.

I would have given this place 5 stars but despite the above normal price for their food, which was wonderful by the way, they did not put guacamole or sour cream on their chimichangas, which is a first for me. If they had done that, they would have had 5 stars.

We’ve been coming to and enjoying Maria’s for years, but it’s about time we leave a review. We’ve enjoyed pretty much everything on the menu, from flautas, to quesabirrias, to authentic Mexican menudo, and so much more! The food is always top notch and very reasonably priced.
But what has really stood out is the consistently friendly and amazing service. And nobody represents that welcoming and friendly service better than Miguel. He made excellent recommendations...
