I was looking for some Taiwanese food (specifically a beef roll) yesterday when I stumbled across Mom’s Kitchen.

Boy, was I happy I did! We ordered the Taiwanese fried chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the chicken chow mein, that had the perfect amount of vegetables, and, of course, my beautiful beef roll. The beef roll was authentic and tasted as if I had been in Taipei, strolling the night markets.

My only concern was that...

My sister said it's the best restaurant kimchi rice she's ever had! A lot of unique dishes...it goes beyond traditional American Chinese food. We'll definitely go again!

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did it yesterday. We liked it! The unique offering of this place compared to other Chinese restaurants is the Northern Chinese dishes,and they are fairly authentic! Spicy bbq lamb with cumin is terrific - while it's fairly common in China, it's hard to find in SLC. They also offered shredded pork with peking sauce, which is really common in beijing, but its the first time I saw a restaurant in slc offering...
