Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican, located at 2185 S. State Street, offers a variety of Mexican dishes with the option to customize your meal. The Pollo Asado, salads, and Sweet Pork Nachos have received positive reviews, though some visits found food overcooked or dry. The line worker Cesar was helpful and friendly, making meals the way customers wanted. The utensils are good quality, and parking is convenient. While staff are amazing, food quality can vary. Customers have reported issues with the drive-thru service, including requests for tips upon payment and incorrect orders. It is recommended to order inside to ensure correct ingredients. A recent lunch visit found the restaurant not busy, allowing for a quick experience. Restrooms are clean but accommodate only one person at a time.
