The food and cocktails were delicious. We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday and had the best time! Our server was great, and the vibes were high. Our favorites were the carne asada (my boyfriend said it's his favorite steak in the city), the sweet potato tacos, the mezcal old fashioned, and the Oaxaca cocktail with mezcal and passionfruit. Delicious! Can't wait to go back.

We walked by at night and noticed how lively and vibrant the restaurant was so we promptly made reservations the next day for lunch (we'd already eaten dinner or we would have tried to get in that night). We are so glad we did! The food was absolutely excellent and the service top notch. We loved the ceviche. The only time we had ceviche that tasted this good was when we were in Mexico on the beach.

A friend recommended that we go to Monarca and I am so glad we heeded his advice. The food was absolutely creative, delicious, and well presented. I wish I lived here because I would go for sure on a weekly basis. We had the guacamole, chips and salsa, Elote dip and queso for our starters. Wonderful flavors and beautifully presented. Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed their entrées. Josh, our server, was so kind, professional, and met our every need. I can't wait to...
