Well we had a reservation for two people, and there was no table when we arrived and we could only sit at the bar which seemed to defeat the point of making a reservation. The bar turned out to be much quieter than the rest of the restaurant so that actually worked out in the end, but there was not even an apology for not having a table for when we had a reservation. The food was excellent and so were the cocktails. The bartender kept asking if we wanted to close out our bill...

Stopped in for dinner for the first time based on glowing reviews. Our server, Bryan, was very attentive, however, the food was below average. We had a salad with fig sauce and sesame dressing, the halibut prepared with zucchini blossom cream sauce and poblano peppers, and the Mar y Tierra tacos. I recognize that busy kitchens need to prepare much in advance, but nothing we ate felt chef-prepared as the restaurant would like you to believe. The mixed greens on our salad were straight...

I celebrated my birthday here and as usual, the food was excellent. If you like Mexican with a more upscale preparation, this is your place. Claudia and Alfonso (the owners) have created something special.
