I can't believe they're closing! We used to eat here daily in the early 90's when I worked for a little sports store in the same plaza. Everyone has always been so friendly and the food - DELICIOUS! Go before they close so you won't miss out. Try the cream cheese wontons, egg drop soup and beef flat noodles! Thank you for sharing your delicious food with us for the past 3 decades. I heard this place was closing down due to a lease issue and felt like I needed to support them before they closed :(I saw their meals for two (don't tell anyone, but I live alone and don't have friends but can eat enough food for two people). My first time ordering takeout from a Sampan. I never had their food before but wanted to support after hearing their story on the Tribune. Sad to learn such a hard working family was treated poorly by their landlord and is forced to close up shop after nearly 30 years.
