Liked our food and server. But.. we were asked for our driver's licenses upon check in. I asked why, and was told it was due to Utah liquor laws. We weren't going to order drinks .. I was offended that our “papers” were checked (for no good reason).. I will not go to this restaurant again... ridiculous treatment of your patrons!!! booooo

It had been a while since we had dined at Ivy and Varley, and I must say it was far below what we had experienced there before. The menu has shrunk significantly, several of our favorites were no longer offered. The wine my partner wanted, which was on the menu, was not in stock, plus the substitute for it they recommended, which was the most expensive on the menu, was poor. In fact, we looked this (substitute) wine up on Total Wine website, and the price of a bottle ($17) was...

The food is always superb and I have yet to have anything but a fantastic server. Drinks are on par and the bartenders skills are second to none! They also have the most amazing patio. Highly suggest.
