Service is legendary for a legendary resort. This should be a two Michelin star restaurant.
The service was excellent overall. The mains were deliver too quickly before we completed our salads. The appetizer was outstanding as well as the salads and desserts. The entries were average considering the price.
Absolutely the most magical culinary experience I have ever known. I have been coming for 26 years now, and it is still my most favored restaurant. Thank you for all the effort and care in every detail from valet, to the waiter and special tapping of the maple tree, to the divine food and La Caille wines. We will be back soon. The highest recommendation I can offer is for La Caille.
Really lovely vibes and ambience, but the food is just nowhere near worth what they charge, at least not for items on the brunch menu. Filet benedict was rather sad, just slightly overcooked filets on an English muffin with an egg and a bit of hollandaise; the creme brulee French toast was very soggy on the bottom. The standout were the pancakes from the starters section of the menu. VERY VERY large portions and could easily be an entree, and the pancakes were some of the best I've ever had.
We love this place so much I didn't really wanna post this review. But great atmosphere, service and cuisine deserves great praise.
We had Troy M. as a server and it was one of the best meals all 6 of us have had in a while. Troy showed his genuine love of service and food, and also his detailed knowledge of the La Caille property. His recommendations for wine, starters, cocktails, entrees and desserts were fantastic and he took into consideration each guest while doing so. I can not recommend La Caille high enough for a celebration or just a fantastic meal.
Yes it is expensive but worth every penny. All the courses were spot on with the combinations of flavors, textures and presentation! There is not a better place for a special occasion dinner!
I was expecting more for the meal. The 5 course meal wasn't connected one to the other in my opinion.
We had a wonderful family dinner at La Caille. Service was amazing and so was the aesthetic. The food was ok but nothing that amazed us. Our steak was a little dry, the squash gnocchi was a little tasteless but we did have a great evening and we are going to come back and give it another try.
I've been here many times. Everything was perfect for a quiet, romantic evening and this experience was no exception! My only critique would be the cost and taste of their own wines. We tried a couple of varieties of the La Caille red wines and they just do not hold up at all to international competition, especially to justify the $35 per glass price.

My dinner was most excellent last night.....I started with a fresh and tasty beet salad , My entree , the Beef Wellington., was supurb..along with the simple and elegant presentation. My highest compliments to the chef..he nailed it!!!
Kingston and Troy were top notch! You're paying for the incredible ambience, but the food was really good too!
The lighting and experience was wonderful. Very romantic, great for a celebration. I would recommend their local wine!
Came out for a girls day and had the best time. A bit pricey but that's to be expected. We had a wonderful time.
For what we paid, this was not a great night. The lobster bisque and beet salad were excellent. My wife enjoyed the duck. My halibut dinner was very basic. I could have made that at home and not paid almost $70 dollars for a piece of fish on some basic, lukewarm potatoes. And then the fish was not cooked all the way through. The bottom half was raw. In sharing this with my waiter and not wanting him to take it back to be cooked again, I simply asked if something could be done to comp that. Nothing was done. And I'm not surprised. But I was surprised at how young the wait staff was. There was no way he knew how to handle a situation like that and I didn't feel like asking for the manager. But in a restaurant where you're easily forking over $200 dollars for a meal, you'd expect a more professional wait staff. If I'm going to pay that much for a meal, I think I'll find another high end restaurant to do it at.
